Very rude and unprofessional. I do NOT recommend using. I engaged them under my elective legal benefit with my employer’s benefit plan. I contacted them draw up a purchase agreement for me (acting as the buyer) to purchase a home. My benefit plan specifically states this is covered. After the initial call with an call receptionist and giving her these details, the receptionist called me back a couple of hours later to tell me she didn’t get all the information correct and could I explain to her again what i was wanting/​needing. I explained it again — I am a prospective buyer of a home who does not have a real estate agent to issue a purchase agreement and so I’m looking for a real estate attorney to draw up the purchase agreement paperwork for me. The receptionist said she understood. After another hour and a half another person in the law office called me back and said she didn’t understand what I needed as the receptionist wasn’t clear in relating it to her. I then told this person what I was looking for. She said that my benefit plan didn’t cover this service but they would be happy to quote me a cost. I told her my plan states that it does cover it. She said that I would need to have the plan admin contact them about that. I said that I would but in the mean time I could send a computer screen image of what I was seeing online with my plan. She said I would have to talk to the attorney and she put the attorney on the phone. I then started to explain to the attorney, the female namesake Esquire of the firm, that I wanted to send a screen grab of the benefits I was seeing online for her to see while in the meantime I would contact my benefit plan admin as requested. However, I never got the chance to fully explain this as she demonstratively and rudely interrupted me several times, I asked her several times not to interrupt me so that I could finish what i was trying to relate to her, and she even interrupted that. In the end, I there is no way in heck I will ever work with them and I’m pretty sure they would be declining my simple paperwork case if I was idiotic enough to try to use them. Since this rude and unprofessional conversation with the firm, I’ve contacted my plan admin and they did confirm that the service I’m looking for is, in fact, covered. Do NOT work with the firm. I believe they now also operate as RDU Law and/​or Russell and Associates. Do NOT use them. They are terrible, unprofessional and rude.

I engaged Russell Goetcheus and Associates to represent me for a minor traffic issue (Speeding Ticket). I was able to get them to represent me but it did take a little more effort on my part than I would have expected. It took several calls to engage them but once I did they were better at communicating the progress on my case.
In the end they did apparently represent me in court and got my case adjudicated.
