Retails Thrift Shop

Soooo glad to find a thrift shop that helps the animals! But the employees were not too kind. Went on a week day, so there was barely anyone in the shop and not once was I greeted or spoken to! The woman at the register was nice but a man (manager maybe?) was discussing job security and such. Not very professional!

This is a fun little thrift store. It’s bigger than the old location, but not quite as big as your Salvation Armys or Good Wills. They have a monthly calendar with special deals and discounts. I always go the last Sunday of the month when the entire store is half off. Be sure to get there early on those days, as there can be a line around the building before it even opens. They take credit which is convenient. And all the proceeds go to a great cause and you can’t beat that.

Came here on weekend with my daughter, wish it’s good as my friend recommended to me. I want to buy something new for my princess. They have a lot of kind of items, but few people to ask, whenever I need to know more about products, noone there to answer.

I visited this store last week. They recently moved into a new location on Spring Forest Rd. near Departure Dr. This is my first experience with this thrift shop and I was very impressed. The merchandise was displayed well. The clothes were very nicely organized by size, type, and gender. This is a pleasant surprise. Many thrift stores I’ve been in have clothes of all types packed on racks or they will have them sorted by color rather than size. This makes it difficult to find what you want in a timely manner. At this shop I was able to locate the sizes I needed quickly. I found several items for myself and my kids.
I also loved the way they had the books displayed. They have an area in the rear of the store set up with bookcases filled with books and magazines. They have the furniture for sale back there as well. It does double duty as seating for the reading area. It’s quite cozy. It looks like a library or bookstore. My daughter relaxed and read a book while I browsed. The clerk that checked me out was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my experience and I plan to return again in the future.

Well organized with a surprising selection of items. Not overrun with clothes (a big plus!) and not expensive, either. Plus, it’s all for a good cause.

I found this little place a few months ago and they had some really great items for great price… they even had a sale rack outside for $ 1 a piece, yippy! They had it organized and easy to look for specifics.

Not the best selection but they have a very fun deal where you can get 50% off one item if you answer their trivia question!

This was an extremely small thrift shop that was surprisingly well organized. I liked the clean environment and the people there. It’s a very nicely done shop. However, I didn’t find anything I particularly wanted but I managed to pick up the game of Life for 4 dollars, and it wasn’t missing any pieces! What a steal! :) I might visit again, I might not. It’s worth a visit, but if you’re looking for something specific you may not find it here.

Plenty Gaudy and I mean that in a Good way! Ugly Clothes and I mean that in a Gold way! They help the Pets in need and I mean that in the BEST way! Dated Treasures and some merchandise not so old! When looking for a Large, Simple Design, Medium Blue, Modern Cylindrical Vase, you never know what you could find here, though you will know the Price will be Way, MUCH less than Buying it from a consignment shop and WAY, Way, way, much MUCH less than buying it from a Non-​Thrift, Non-​Consignment shop (Brand New)!

My mom loves this shop, and takes me there from time to time. They do have some nice deals from time to time. She often buys sweaters for our dogs for us here. Everything is for a great cause.

My favorite thrift store ever. I have never left without an awesome item… or 10. Smaller and very organized and clean. Different sales everyday, just check out their calendar. All money goes to animals! Seriously the best thrift in Raleigh.

I love shopping at Retails! I can depend on them for having great stuff in stock (not a lot of junk!) and they have the best sales. I love Clean Sweep at the end of the month! Hands-​down, my favorite thrift shop in Raleigh.

The Clean Sweep Sale is the best!!! Be there on the last Sunday of each month, you won’t be disappointed.

I was driving by down the road on my way to Wally World and I saw thee sign so I made that hard right into the parking lot to see what they had to offer. After being at the fabric store across the street and discovering that fabric is really expensive. My goal was to find something for the Unilocal Toga party. The place is small, but they do have a variety of items to offer. Way in the back corner are the items such as bed sheets, drapes, etc. I found this nice gold 4×8 gold curtain for only $ 3 that I decided to wear as my toga. It didn’t look half bad. The best part about it was I found a use for it after I moved into my new place, so it had a double use to it.

ReTails Thrift store is a fabulous little shop where treasures abound. The rotating inventory allows for frequent scavenging. From a nice selection of clothing to books, furniture, jewelry and more, we always find a little something to take home. The shop holds frequent discount specials (on already rock bottom prices) and you won’t want to miss ReTails at Christmas time!
The best thing about this store is that it’s run by volunteers and 100% of the proceeds support the spay/​neuter pet program of AnimalKind.
