Meet the Business Owner

Rebekah A.

Business Owner

With over 25 years of professional experience within the industry, Rebekah Anderson embodies the principles of Earth Pebbles Gemology. Rebekah’s love of gems and jewelry blossomed early in her career as a polisher and finisher for a small, independent jewelry store. An inherit aptitude for design and standards of excellence led to her jeweler apprenticeship.

Rebekah’s desire to more comprehensively understand the nature of gems prompted her attending the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Rebekah later opened the GIA campus at Carlsbad, California as their Resident Gemology Instructor.

From there, she was instrumental in opening the GIA London campus as a Lead Instructor. During her tenure at GIA, she had access to the latest research and information on gem treatments or enhancements, and identifying new synthetic stones. Her involvement in buying, advising and training for retail, wholesale and the private sectors further compliments her extensive experience as a Gemologist.
