Plantation Point Farmers Market

Today I came to support a friend who just became a vendor at the market. (See CHAUTE for your skincare products and tell them Leslie sent you) The market is convenient to where I live and easy to find, rt off Capital Blvd. It’s intimate, local and always a great place to find fresh produce amongst other things. It’s open from 9 – 2. There is plenty of parking and today there was even a band. My daughter visited the fun zone and got a free pumpkin today and also free face painting! That was such a treat. Then I treated myself (after sampling several varieties) to some unique honey: cantelope flavor. Yum! Patrons received a bag with coupons in it one of them being $ 2 off at any vendor. Another treat! Then I went to visit my friend at Chaute. Tried some of their sugar scub, the most writer but settled on the emollient. It had a very pleasant scent and a texture that I loved and thought would be great as we transition into cooler temps. I used it today and it absorbed into my skin and left it feeling smooth and moisturized. I never leave this Farmers market without finding something that good for my family.

This farmers market is amazing. Small but it has everything you need! If you’re facing the market, in the far left is Mike (always in overalls!) and he has amazing produce and phenomenal pork products! You have to try his Italian sausage… Amazing! People there have fresh lotions, fresh dog treats (dog friendly, I’m the chic with the white shepherd), cupcakes, gourmet popcorn and so much more! On the far right, I believe it’s busy bee something but I get all of my red meat there, chicken, eggs, and butter! Finally a place, nearby, to get meat with out all of the antibiotics and crap; best part… Affordable if you compare to Whole foods. At least you know exactly where your meat is coming from. They also have live music! It’s from 9am-​2pm on Saturday! I know I’m ranting about this place but I love it and I want to see it succeed! Come check it out!

Capitalizing on a nearly Ghost-​town Shopping Center Plenty of Parking! Every Saturday Rain or Shine! This is the Other Farmers Market in Raleigh (North)… Rain it did with an Insomnium — Shadows Of The Dying Sun (Full Album) Tone of Joy and looming Brightness in the rain!
Produce, Live Music, Crafts, Popcorn, Chocolates, Jewelry, Pottery, Pound Cakes, BBQ Food Truck… Cool Event Rain reduced the vendors by about 50% though still a GREAT Turnout, plenty to see on our first visit!

This is the Shopping Center where «Phở Super 9» (Sweet smell of Boiling Bones) and «Big Lot’s» is just south of 540 and Capitol Blvd. (US-​1)
