History

Established in 2009.

Olive’s portfolio and pipeline includes residential projects, restaurants, hotels, offices and retail spaces. Prior to launching Olive, the principal — F. Thomas Murphy — worked on projects such as Greensboro’s Proximity, the nation’s first AAA Four Diamond LEED Platinum hotel and restaurant. Olive continues and deepens that tradition of innovation.

Tom’s professional experience includes building programming and the design of facilities for a wide variety of clients, scopes, building types and contexts. His designs distinguish themselves by effectively responding to their context, and exceeding the expectations of those involved.
