Specialties
Mad Science is the world’s leading science enrichment provider. We deliver unique, hands-on science experiences for children that are as entertaining as they are educational. Mad Science is proud to introduce millions of children to a world of discovery while sparking their imagination. We encourage scientific literacy in children in an age when science is as vital as reading, writing, and arithmetic. Mad Science is on a mission to spark the imagination and curiosity of children by providing them with fun, interactive, and educational programs that instill a clear understanding of what science is really about and how it affects their world.
History
Established in 1998.
In 1985, young entrepreneurs, Ariel and Ron Shlien, began putting on science demonstrations for neighborhood children. They realized that not only did these interactive shows spark children’s imaginations and help them learn, but kids loved them! Thus, Mad Science was born! It moved from the garage, to the local YMCA, and in 1995 the concept was franchised, allowing Mad Science to establish locations around the world!
Mad Science of the Triangle was established in 1998, and ever since we have been doing what we do today along with our other franchise locations: bringing interactive and hands-on science education to millions of children in 22 countries!
