History

Established in 2009.

Welcome to Lynn-O’Grady Quinlan-​Connick Academy (LOQC) of Irish dance, Raleigh and Cary locations, the Premier Irish Dance Studio in the triangle area! This wonderful merge between Lynn Academy, O’Grady Quinlan, and Rince na h’Eireann now has many locations throughout the Carolinas, and the Mid-​Atlantic Region. We are extremely proud to be part of such a successful team of teachers. We maintain a reputation for setting a standard of excellence by providing the best training to all of our students in a positive and nurturing environment. It is our goal to bring out the best in every dancer through our experienced team of teachers who share their passion for Irish dance and encourage students to set their goals high, not only in dance, but in all areas of their lives. We are honored to have grown by leaps and bounds since our opening in the Triangle in 2009 under Sandra Connick & Rince na h’Eireann.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ms Clark, TCRG is the lead teacher of the Raleigh LOQC Academy. She has danced, trained and taught under Sandra Connick TCRG. Surprisingly, Lisa did not start out as an Irish dancer, but as a competitive springboard diver competing in National and International Diving competitions during her ten year career. Lisa was fortunate to be trained by three Olympic diving coaches over her years and brings invaluable training and experience to the table in preparing her Irish dancers to be strong competitors. In addition to her athletic experience, Lisa also brings her knowledge from years of teaching middle and high school math and has affectively motivate them to do their best is an invaluable asset to her as she teaches dancers. Lisa always had a dream to be a dancer, after life slowed down in her adult life, she took her first Irish dance lesson and has been hooked ever since. Lisa is honored to be part of one of the top ranked Irish Dance School in the US.
