History

Established in 1997.

Lizardwebs has been around for many years providing computer services of many types. Starting with home/​residential customers, it expanded to meet the needs of local Raleigh businesses around 2000. Operating originally from Lizard Lick NC, the area did expand about that time to include customers throughout the Eastern Wake and Johnston County areas.

We expanded to offices in Clayton NC in 2010 but quickly realized our strengths were in the field — not sitting waiting for people to come through the door. Many of the services are best performed directly onsite so we have gone back to our roots. While we still maintain a dropoff location in Clayton NC, we prefer to do our work primarily in customer offices and homes.

Meet the Business Owner

Eric E.

Business Owner

Eric Erickson is the owner of Lizardwebs and has handled most of the functions throughout the years. With a background in computers and programming starting in the early 80’s, he knows a lot about all facets of the computer/​web business.

Various positions started off in 1995 as a help desk person for InternetMCI progressing on up Systems Administrator for Nortel, his background in computers and networking technologies is solid. Servicing small businesses just fell into play during that time allowing him to bring his corporate experience and knowledge to the average small business owner. During that same time frame, as the internet came into mainstream, he developed a strong interest in web development and designed his first business website in 1997. Later positions were more focused on web development and web architecture.

He now spends his days primarily working with web development and Search engine optimization (SEO) clients — and running Lizardwebs!
