History
Established in 1987.
After serving the people of the State of North Carolina for almost eight years an an Assistant District Attorney, Karl E Knudsen founded the Law Offices of Karl E Knudsen to serve people who have been injured or accused of a crime. Mr. Knudsen has represented thousands of people in need over the last 25 years. He is a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law and has attained a preeminent AV rating from the Martindale-Hubble attorney rating firm.

Karl is a longtime resident of Raleigh who graduated from N C State University and the UNC School of Law. After serving the citizens of Wake County for almost 8 years as an Assistant District Attorney, he has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1987. His practice is limited to trial law representing people who have been injured by the negligence of others, including health care professionals, or have been accused of the commission of a crime ranging from traffic offenses, such as DWI, up to and including capital murder. He has been a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law since 1996. He has attained the Martindale-Hubbard AV rating which is the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards given. He is also rated a 10 by AVVO and has been named to the the list of «Super Lawyers» since 2007.
