I’ve lived at Ivy Commons for two years and I really enjoy it. While it may not be as luxurious as some apartments, there are a few things that make it a great choice for college students: 1) It is across the street from Centennial Campus, making any building in there within easy walking distance. 2) It has an entrance on Avent Ferry and Crest, meaning that there are two Wolfline bus stops to get you into Main Campus. I live in a building close to the Crest side, meaning I can catch one bus going into campus and a different one bus leaving campus, cutting the wait time down. A few other notes: 1) They used to be lax about checking for parking permits, but they’ve recently announced that they’re going to be much stricter. Since I haven’t yet seen enforcement, I can’t comment on this. 2) I live in a building that is next to the predominately Hispanic neighborhood and it is loud, Loud, LOUD. They are seriously obnoxious sometimes, playing music and yelling a lot. Overall, I have enjoyed living here so far.
