Glo De Vie Med Spa

The salon was a little hidden so it was a little hard to find for me. But once you stepped foot in it, it was beautiful. Earthy and relaxing, it just screams at you leave your worries at the door. I had an appointment with Amanda and she was truly professional. She carefully evaluated my face before telling me her recommendations. I appreciated the amount of time she actually spent with me for the service that I was getting. Will definitely be back here again.

Owner and Staff friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend their services. I plan to continue to use their services. In additional to looking better, my sense of self has improved tremendously.

Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received. These ladies make you feel welcome & comfortable the moment you walk in. Laser hair removal is essentially painless. It is a beautiful, calming space. I was extremely resistant to using Botox but my migraines were starting to control my life. Amanda applies the lowest dose possible & I get 3 – 4 months migraine free. No medication has ever done that for me. Highly recommended.

Just had my first laser hair removal at Glo De Vie. I have had it done before elsewhere and I cannot believe that it was PAINLESS this time. I could have taken a nap I was so relaxed!

I’ve been to a few similar spas, and while Glo De Vie was a little more pricey than the others, this was definitely my favorite. First, everyone was so friendly. Heather at the front desk was incredibly down to earth and accommodating from start to finish. When I set up an appointment, my schedule was complicated and she patiently worked with me. When I got there, she was very calm and friendly. I went in for a free consult, and some places charge so I was glad for that. They stressed being a no-​pressure atmosphere, and I felt that. I got the service I came for, and no one tried to upsell me.
The ambiance is also very inviting with relaxing décor, calm music, and a delicious smell — maybe from scented candles. It has a warm sitting area where Heather prepared me a customized cup of coffee. They also have water, tea, and some cookies.
In comparison to Glo De Vie, the other spas I’ve been to felt sterile and cold, not warm and ambient.
The only thing I’d change — a screen showed images meant to sell a laser product that removes skin and hair imperfections. It flashed photos of things like people’s spider veins, blood spots, and a man’s insanely hairy back. Ew! I guess people should know they can get this laser treatment, but it was pretty gross and took away from the relaxing vibe. If I could I’d give 4.5 stars due to slightly pricey services and gross photos, but they were so nice there that I choose to round up.

Glo de Vie is the best spa in the Triangle! The treatments I’ve had here have changed my life and everyone on staff is superb in their knowledge and kindness. Amanda is the only one I trust to do my Botox! She has the skill of a scientist and artist combined to put just enough in their to create a beautiful, soft look. I had to wait four months or more for Botox to leave my face after I had poor placement at other spas. I would travel from anywhere to see Amanda! The facials are wonderful, Exilis and the IPL is amazing for your skin. Glo de Vie is the absolute top of the line in this area!!!

This place is really wonderful. The facility and staff couldn’t be nicer or more professional. Amanda is extremely competent and experienced, she does a great job! Their prices seem to be fairly reasonable and they run specials every so often. I definitely look forward to going back!

Living in the San Diego sunshine for the past eight years had left my face embarrassingly dry with skin flaking. I was visiting North Carolina for my sister’s wedding and wanted to look my best, but wasn’t sure what to do. Glo De Vie came highly recommended from a friend so I decided to book an appointment. Though, being a man, I was skeptical and somewhat nervous at first I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to give it a try. I, honestly, can’t believe I hadn’t tried it sooner!
Upon arriving I was greeted warmly from the receptionist and immediately the nervousness melted away as it was easily apparent that at Glo De Vie they make it the utmost priority to make their customers comfortable. Karie, the specialist whose care I was put in, was extremely knowledgeable of her trade. She knew the top-​notch products well and before applying them she made sure to ask me if I had any known reactions or if they were irritating my skin. Her conversation with me was easy and comfortable, never once was I on edge.
Now that I’ve tried Glo De Vie, I’d recommend it to any of my guy friends. What guy doesn’t want to be pampered by a beautiful woman?! I was extremely comfortable and happy with the results as my skin felt fresh, rejuvenated, and relaxed!

I had a wonderful experience. Making the appointment was easy. The atmosphere was relaxing and they had coffee, chocolates and cookies out in the waiting area. The staff was super nice and the woman who did my Botox (Amanda) was quick and friendly. The best part was no one tried to sell me anything. I have gotten Botox at places before and every single place has tried to sell me another service or a package or product. None of that here. No pressure. I was in and out and the prices were reasonable and I will be going back!

Highest ratings. Very relaxing atmosphere. Perhaps earthy spas are a cliché, but it really works here. You are instantly comfortable & comforted by the employees, who are very kind & gentle, yet honest. They don’t pressure you in any way, and they are knowledgeable & professional yet friendly. The procedure I had done was a breeze & the results were instant. I“m loving this place and can’t wait to go back. Better save my pennies. This spa is really a treat, and I would trust them to go a great job with any technoology or process they offer. What peace of mind it gives you to have such a positive experience.
