I provide private instruction for adults and children of all ages. I have several adult students returning to playing and some that are just starting out in addition to young students starting from 8 years old. I am a candidate for a doctorate in music at Indiana University and have taught privately for over 10 years. I currently perform with the Durham and Fayetteville Symphonies in addition to conducting the Raleigh Area Flute Association’s Silver Pipes flute choir.

Business Owner
Kelly Nivison Roudabush performs with the Durham Symphony on flute and piccolo and is the first call sub for the Fayetteville Symphony. She directs the Raleigh Area Flute Association’s Silver Pipes flute choir, teaches flute, clarinet, saxophone, and piano privately, and has previously served as the adjunct professor of applied woodwinds at Vincennes University. She has performed with the Indy Baroque Orchestra’s Ensemble Voltaire, the Bourbon Baroque Orchestra, the Owensboro Symphony, the Bloomington Symphony, the Indiana Wind Symphony, the Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble, and Ensemble Ad Libitum. Kelly is a doctoral candidate in historical flute performance at Indiana University’s Early Music Institute where she also completed a minor in music education and modern flute performance. Additionally, Kelly holds flute performance degrees from Florida State University (M.M) and Appalachian State University (B.M.), and a K-12 music education degree from Appalachian State University (B.M.).
