History

Established in 1922.

Expert Express Inc. traces its roots back to Albemarle, NC where Jesse Gantt and his cousin Jim Gantt opened their office on East Main St. in 1922. They provided plumbing, heating and electrical services to customers through out the state of North Carolina. Since 1922 it has been a family tradition at the age of 12 (sometimes younger) as a rite of passage from boyhood to manhood, every son would begin their apprenticeship (whether they liked it or not). From a young age we were taught that our reputation is the only thing we take from this life. And that honesty, craftsmanship, integridy and our charater matter more than anything. We have always tried to provide the best possible parts and service to our customers that we can. We believe it is better too do what is right than to make a few extra dollars by cutting corners or using shotty equipment or parts. We know that if we do our best and treat you right, you will be a customer for life. So come join our family

Some of my earliest memories were of my dad going off to help people. He was like a super hero to me at that age. He would wisk away to save someone from the deadly cold, or stop the floods from washing their house away. I couldnt wait till I could go with him on his next mission to rescue someone from their problems and save the day. So even as a young man I knew I wanted to be a super hero like my dad. I studied hard and learned all that made the difference between the repair men and true super hero’s like my dad. He taught me things like standing for what is right no matter what the cost, and making the world a better place. Well if you think about it, thats what we do everyday.
