Egg in Nest is an unique art studio for artists located in Raleigh, NC just off Penny Road and Kildaire Farm Road near the Cary and Apex town limits. Professional art supplies of every type fill the studio along with young artists and the occasional adult art student who are there to make art, learn art and love art.

Business Owner

Jenny began her career as a professional illustrator after graduation from William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia working for various Virginia State agencies and area museums.

She opened her first gallery in Williamsburg with a teaching studio attached where she experimented with the unique teaching approaches she has pioneered. Then she and her husband started a family, moved to Seattle, Washington for a while to follow his career in marine sciences before returning back East to Raleigh. She has been teaching here for over fifteen years while raising her family and making art herself in the Egg in Nest studio.
