History

Established in 2004.

Sharon Fender had a background in retail and accounting prior to opening Class for Half. She decided to open her own business while still maintaining her job at Cache and her coworkers and customers were her first consignors. Prior to opening the doors at 1614 North Market she would meet them in the parking lot of Fresh Market to collect their clothes for consignment.

After much work and preparation she opened the doors on April 1st 2004-hoping she had not just played the mother of all April Fools Day pranks on herself! Now-10 years later the business is still going strong!
