Carolina Pet Cremation

Steve was very kind and handled the whole situation with extreme delicacy. Our 3 month old kitten, Kaleo, died suddenly and was being examined at a lab in Raleigh and Steve arranged the transport and called us when the process was complete. We loved the clay impression with Kaleo’s little paw print we received as part of the cremation. Thank you Steve, from Tyler and Lauren.

I can’t imagine that anyone provides a better, more professional and courteous service than this business. I recently had two 16 year old dogs die within 10 days of each other and Steve helped us with both. Each time I called was late in the evening and he came right away. I would recommend this business to anyone who has to deal with the passing and cremation of a beloved pet.

If this had 10 stars I would have given Carolina Pet Cremation that.
But I digress. We are new to the area and only couple of days ago we unexpectedly lost our much loved 13-​year old Golden-​Samoyed dog — «Sisu.» As you other pet owners they are less «pet» and more «family.» So not surprisingly we have been devastated. I called several locations that provide pet cremation services, and selected Carolina Pet Cremation. The reception was excellent, Steve was solicitous, very sensitive to our loss, brought a gurney out to the car rather than just carrying her in – the gurney covered in a blanket and another to cover out dog.
Steve was fantastic, had us sign some paperwork, gave us a projected time we could pick her remains (though he calls to confirm in advance), and answered all our questions. Throughout he was pleasant, unrushed, and helpful.
When we picked up the remains, they came in a very beautiful rosewood box (with floral carving on the top), a «memorial packet of information,» and a clay fired paw print of our dog. The box and paw print were put in beautiful velvet bags.
Now for the A+ rating. During dropoff I had mentioned that my son (who lives in Northern Virginia) and my wife and I were very attached to the job. Imagine my surprise when we picked up the box and paw prints – he had included a second one so both we and my son could have a copy. Unrequested and at no cost. Wow, what thoughtfulness.
I highly recommend Carolina Pet Cremation — very cost effective and superlative service. Thanks Steve for making a very difficult time a bit easier.
