Had a simple oil change done this week. Good price and better customer service. Not much else I can ask for in a mechanic.

C & C Auto is honest, straightforward, and awesome! They are my trusted car advisors. They give great advice, even it means they will lose money. On several occasions, they have provided better, cheaper alternatives than the expensive repairs their competitors have tried to sell me. I always use them!

Went in with two issues (one being a simple squeaking of my steering wheel) and they didn’t end up getting around to that issue but I did leave with a bill close to $ 1,000. The guys that work here seem nice but I just don’t trust them. I called on Wednesday, dropped off my car on Friday and they told me I wouldn’t have my car until Monday. That is just way too long to be without my car, especially since I needed it to get to work on Monday morning. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of trustworthy mechanics around southwest Raleigh which is disappointing.

I’ve been going to C & C since I moved here in 2012 because of great Unilocal reviews and I wanted to be sure to add my stellar review to the mix. Chad and his crew have always been able to fit me in when needed, accommodate my schedule, and provide trustworthy services. They really go the extra mile for customer service and they are excellent mechanics. I’ve finally found a mechanic I can trust and if it weren’t for my need to relocate, I would continue to go to this shop forever. Thanks for everything, C + C!

After getting my oil changed in Fayetteville, I noticed the smell of burning oil. I took my car to C&C and they not only cleaned the bottom pan of my car that was saturated in oil, a product of the filter being put on haphazardly from the last oil change, but they also brought me out to the garage to point out what had happened. I’ve since been back for a second oil change and the customer service and professionalism has been consistent. I won’t take my car anywhere else while I live in North Carolina!

Absolutely phenomenal customer service.
I needed to replace my driver’s side, side mirror — on the day before Thanksgiving. I knew my chances of finding a garage that could get their hands on the one I needed AND have the time to attach it were slim. I fully expected to have to procure a mirror myself. As you can imagine, I spoke with a lot of harried, harassed, and downright rude individuals that day. Every garage I called curtly informed me they either didn’t have the part and/​or could not get it done that day. They didn’t actually say the word ‘stupid’ at the end of their sentences but you their tones implied it.
When I called C & C Auto, Scott was kind and informative and wasn’t trying to get me off of the phone like the guy at another popular, highly rated garage was. Scott got points just for his kindness. If he would have said they could not have scheduled me for service that day, I was already grateful for his service. As it was, he told me they could do the job. Right when I was going to tell him I’d call back as soon as I found a mirror, he told me he would call one of their suppliers to see if they had the part. I was speechless. He actually said it as if that was the business’ normal MO. I know now that it is. He not only found the part, he also had to drive close to an hour to pick it up.
When I got there, he was just as friendly and helpful. He told me how long it would take and then pointed out nearby restaurants where I could grab some lunch as it was around that time. He made sure he had my mobile number so he could call me when my car was ready. I mentioned that I might need a car inspection soon and if so, might as well get it done while I was there. He checked the DMV and my inspection was due two months prior. Oops. Scott informed me that a mechanic would do the inspection but he could take a cursory look at it. He had noticed my front tires didn’t have enough tread to pass the inspection. When he took a closer look he found a nail! Even I know that could have blown out at any time. The other front tire was almost as bad. Scott again called around to find the tires that I needed and went to pick them up. That’s the second errand he ran for me. To top it all off, the prices were good as well.
This place is honestly out of my way but I will make the time to use this garage whenever I need something done to my car. They have more than earned my loyalty and respect.

I had to get my car inspected yesterday and since this was my first time getting car inspected in Raleigh, I looked at reviews on Unilocal first. I decided to go to C&C just because it had great reviews, and I did not call or make an appointment but just walked-​in. I got there around 11am and it was super busy. A guy who worked there asked me whether I made an appointment or not and I told him that I did not make an appointment. He put me on 4pm and told me that he would call me back.
I left my car and they called me around 4:30pm. I went back there to get my car and all of people who worked there were SO nice. And I was very happy with their price, too. Overall, their service was very quick, price was reasonable, and people were really nice. I would call them and make an appointment next time though! They were really busy!

Had a hole in my evap vent line (2010 Chevy Cobalt) likely from a squirrel chewing thru. Chevy dealer claimed they needed to replace the whole gas tank & lines for $ 850. I took the car to C&C upon reading great Unilocal reviews and having a fellow grad student recommend this business to me. They looked at the car for free. Then then they figured out what to do, explained everything very well to me, and were very up-​front about all the costs. They just replaced part that had the hole in it and I was out the door only spending $ 128. Cleared the check engine light and hopefully everything holds so I can get my inspection. This place has outstanding customer service and business practices, and much more reasonable prices. They don’t try to scare you or feed you b.s. and get you to pay for a bunch of stuff you don’t need, like the dealers do. Everything you want out of a mechanic shop. Since my car is no longer under warranty I will take it here for all its needs.

My Prius was giving me a warning & check engine light. Since I work at NCSU, I took it to C & C so they could pull the error code from the onboard computer.
In a short time, they pulled the code and even made a call to a import shop. They told me the other shop said to look into a recall for the part that was in alarm. In my opinion, they could have told me I needed work done and I would have been none the wiser. Though C & C didn’t do any repairs on my car, I appreciate when a business has honesty and integrity. That’s worth 5-​stars in my book.

Went in to get my car inspected. They were very nice and were able to do the inspection right away. They also topped off my washer fluid for a great price. They were quick and didn’t want to waste my time. I would go back for any other car needs.

I have been taking my car to this shop for any and all repairs I have needed for the past couple of years. I have never had any problems and have always received great work and reasonable prices. I even received a handwritten note from the owner thanking me for my business. Trustworthy and efficient. Great business and staff!

I love this place. Both my boyfriend and myself have taken our vehicles here several times over the past three years and have been more than pleased every time. Once my car hit 110,000mi I decided to take it in to have a checkup and they were very thorough.
Then recently, I started hearing a creaking noise towards the front right of the vehicle so I decided to take it by. They took it out to try to recreate the issue, then let me drive to make sure we were hearing the same thing. They asked a lot of questions about the care and maintenance on the car to ensure they had the full picture also (I do most of my work myself).
They’re not one of those shops that will tell you that you need things you don’t. They’re not there to gouge you for money, they really just want to get you back out on the road safely and I appreciate that. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been knowledgeable and courteous and very informative. I recommend them to everyone I can!

Accelerating onto 440, my car suddenly decided it didn’t really want to work. I could force it to maintain speed, but when it came to accelerating… not so much. I barely got it off the highway and to a gas station. After a quick Google search, I landed on C&C because of their excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. I had my car towed in on a Thursday afternoon unscheduled and I picked it up Monday morning running smoothly again. Approaching 150,000 miles, I was afraid the repairs wouldn’t be worth it, but their quote was very reasonable. The guys were nice, courteous, professional and fast. I’d take my car back there in a second.

Very shady business. Guy behind the counter, whose name I won’t mention, said he would give me a discount but I would have to pay in cash and he would not be able to give me a receipt. What does that tell you?
Edit: I was disappointed to learn that Chad is the owner of C&C. I just want to say that I have no interest in slandering a man or his business. In fact, I detest slander because it is dishonest, and it because of dishonesty that I created this post and gave this business a 1 star rating. Whether or not he has any recollection, I can tell you that this did indeed occur as I do remember it clearly. It is up to you as a customer to decide, but I personally will not be visiting C&C Auto again for this and other reasons not mentioned in my post.

They are a lot cheaper than a lot of other places, the quality of work is great and the service is very professional. I recommend all of my friends to take their cars here for their repairs and would recommend you go there as well.

They are very honest folks, very quick at service. I bought a new car and probably wouldn’t need much of their service. But my old camry will need, and I plan to go here should the need come.

Went here today for the first time… I was a little leery because of the reviews by folks who only have reviewed C & C and nothing else. Great experience though! Went in without an appointment, had no problems getting my oil changed within half an hour, and they were more than glad to use the oil and filter I brought, which lowered my total bill to $ 20! They also checked the code for my check engine light and told me which one it was. Super friendly service, clean and serviceable (and air conditioned!) waiting room. Overall, a great experience with some honest, upfront car guys. Only four stars just because this was my first and only visit so far.

As a business owner, I’ve learned the value of great customer service and I love it when I see companies that also value it as I do. C&C Auto Service is such a company and in my book they rank at the top of their industry.
This past spring I was picking up my daughter from NC State and I needed to get some things fixed on her car before we starting our long drive home to Chicago. I was short on time and I was concerned that I would be an easy target for a service center to overcharge me. Instead C&C people were extremely helpful, they limited their work to only what I needed and the bill was very reasonable for the work they performed.
In addition, while I was waiting for them to finish, I observed them helping another customer. The customer was a 20 something women who was driving a late model Toyota. I overheard the technicians tell her, «I could fix it for you, however, it will cost you several hundred dollars and this repair should be covered under your vehicle warranty. I suggest that you save the money and take it to a Toyota dealer.» I was stunned with his honesty and immediately knew I had found the right repair shop.
Their honesty, knowledge of cars and focus on giving the customer what they need, puts them in a class of their own… what a great experience!
I would highly recommend them!!!

I needed my car repaired quickly. The check engine light came on and it was practically dying. Luckily, I lived not too far from C&C. I checked them out online and felt comfortable going there. I’m happy to say that C&C was a great choice. Friendly, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The family has been in the business for over 20 years and is growing quickly. I recommend them.
