If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t offer a living social deal if you are closed Sun and Mon and until 5 on Tues with limited evening hours the rest of the days. People have jobs and can only do this luxury on off times. Plus, I wanted to come with a girlfriend to pamper myself but was told there are only two pedicure bowls so they obviously do not have the capacity to deal with the volume they would have gotten with the living social deal.

Went back for a return visit for a mani/pedi a few month later and the front desk staff was friendlier and my nail tech was better. She took great care getting my nails perfect, gave a great foot massage and was a nice woman. I was comfortable in the chair and enjoyed the neck wrap. This is a fine place, not overly pampering, but just fine. Good selection of colors too.

Reverlie cut my 3 young daughters’ hair. She was very sweet to them & patient when they squirmed. She did a great job! The staff & other stylists were very friendly. The salon looks nice & is very clean. I would definitely go back.

I simply love this place. The staff is so friendly and so accommodating! I’ve had nothing but great experiences and great service. I’ve had manicures and some waxing done and have been so pleased with the results every time. I’ve recommended them to all my friends and will continue to do so!

Avoid this place! They double dip wax and re-use strips(both against NC regs). I went twice. First time for a wax& mani. After the underarm wax(I left with hair there), I waited for 2hrs. I had dinner and let them know I couldn’t wait any longer. They apologized and re-scheduled. I returned for the worst mani and pedi EVER. I’m 10000% sure this woman had no training! It was actually painful. Avoid this place.

This is the first salon that ever successfully straightened my hair. I am not kidding! I am so thrilled as I no longer have stubborn waves. The attention to the condition to my hair was unsurpassed and the conditioning I had was excellent. I can get by with getting my hair straightened twice a year and this will be the place I return. Plus, they use and sell Aveda products… ahhh…

I’ve been going to Aqua Salon for several years and I am never disappointed. Staff is always professional and friendly. The salon is beautiful and clean. The stylists take their time with you and do a wonderful job. I love the pure water they use — it really makes a difference in the shine of my hair. They also use Aveda products which are plant based and excellent quality. I’ve been to other salons that charge more for less quality of service.

Unprofessional staff — my facialist wasn’t ready for me and had me wait 5 minutes on the table while the steamer warmed up. My hair stylist made me wait another 5 minutes while she took a call. She also asked me if I could sit with my hair wet and let the conditioner soak in while she took care of something. Overall, the haircut was not good, and the facial was mediocre. Will not go back.

Aqua is a pure water concept salon spa that is all about catering to your needs and assuring that you get to relax and are taken care of. This past Saturday I stopped by for a pedicure and foot massage. Tucked away in Brennan Station, off Creedmoor Road, it’s a very convenient location. It’s an Aveda spa that offers hair, nails, waxing, facials, and massage. Their services are centered on using water as part of their treatment though. When I called the first time last Wednesday and left a message no one returned my call so that bothered me, but I had a $ 10 off coupon so I was eager to try it out. I tried again on Thursday and got someone on the phone. She was very nice and told me about all their pedicure services, since that’s what I asked for. She also told me about the specials. Island Breeze Pedicure and Foot massage with a drink for $ 25. Sold! Saturday I arrived right on time and was greeted warmly. They seemed so excited to see me! I filled out the little questionnaire and was escorted back to the nail room, which was decorated with cool colors and had calm music playing in the background. My foot bath was the perfect temperature and the massage chair was like sitting in heaven. Angelia took care of me. She was careful, gentile and precise. She attended to every little detail between the foot scrub, clipping, filing, massage, lotion, asking how I liked my nails kept, and putting the color on in just the right amount. Both she and the other esthetician talked to me as if I was their friend and it was a comfortable environment. As I was checking out the lady at the front told me to «like» their Facebook page to find more specials that are posted on a regular basis. So sweet and friendly, yet professional. It’s about time I found a good salon and spa!
