Swoon! Anna & Alice is a lovely boutique in Lafayette Village. It is more high end than most of the boutiques in Raleigh, similar to North Hills but without the headache of being in North Hills! The designers and quality are very nice here. They have a really amazing selection. Unfortunately it was all a bit out of my price range. Being a lowly public servant, they don’t really pay me the big bucks. The next time I’m seeking a reward for myself, Anna and Alice will be on the top of my list. The clothing had that extra special something and jewelry was unique and local. I already picked out a cape and necklace that I’m hoping the hubs will«surprise» me with! =) Staff is really sweet and helpful!

Moderately sized, with casual-chic to dressier outfits. I thought the clothes, labels, and prices compared to what you might expect at a number of North Hills boutiques; but what did stand out to me here was the locally made jewelry. Lots of it! Displayed well. Wearable. And affordable. I’m not much of an accessories magpie, but couldn’t pass up some of the earrings I found here.

This is a great boutique in Lafayette Village! The owner’s are extremely nice and helpful and have GREAT style. They do have expensive tastes with some things(like the Halston Heritage) but still beautiful none the less, they usually have a great sale selection as well and really nice jewelry. You won’t be disappointed you stopped by this one!

Mind you this review is based off of my assessment of a women’s clothing boutique so it might be a bit skewed, as I’m obviously not their target audience/clientele. Brit and I came here during the Lafayette Village Grand Opening. Apparently Anna & Alice have been in the complex for about 6 months now, but this Grand Opening afforded people the ability to come see the village. Anna & Alice is on an outside corner of the flowing Grecian Lines of the Village. A sale rack outside ranged from 25.00 to 100.00 items. Inside prices ran the gamut from mid to high twenties to the hundreds of dollars. The boutique is sparse but full of beautiful product. 4 way stretch jeans, sun dresses, and a whole spectrum of designers abound in this quaint boutique. They had a few chairs up front which were comfortable as I sat and watched Brit roam around the store. The girls that run the place — Carrie and Kenzie were friendly and welcoming to all the people that came in. They even poured me a glass of champagne while I waited. If I ever need to grab a small gift for Brit, or if she’s looking for something for a special night out on the town — I know where we’ll be going to acquire some items.
