Meet the Business Owner

Mark B.

Business Owner

Mark has been in the financial service field for many years. He started his career with American General, working with life insurance products to provide security to his clients and their families. He was recognized for his accomplishments and expertise winning multiple awards, such as the President’s gold trophy, and was named the top agent in a multi-​state region. Several years ago he formed AKJ Financial Group as an independent adviser, in order to broaden his services and to specialize in helping people with retirement planning and asset protection.

Mark has been married to Alicia for the last 25 years and they have 3 children; Ashleigh, Kaylee and Jacob. Mark is active in his community and attends a local Baptist church where he teaches 12^th grade Sunday school, works with 9^th grade boys, and serves on the Board of Deacons.

Mark’s key to his professional success is to listen and fully understand the needs of each client.
