History

Established in 1965.

This particular drop zone has been around sine the 1960s, and used to be a major hub for skydivers worldwide. In September, 2014 the business became a part of Paraclete XP, the popular indoor skydiving facility 10 minutes away. XP has put a lot of thought and effort into restoring the dropzone and there have been many changes made to accommodate the modern skydiver!

I gifted my husband tandem skydiving on his birthday last weekend. The best part of the experience was the video. We have watched it over and over again. The videographer made a really risky jump to ensure the video was right. My only tip would be please wear a helmet to cover your face from the gush of air in the free fall. My husband, who has sinus problem, felt his nerves strain in his nose and ears.

Awesome environment, by far the best drop zone I’ve been to. I finished my AFF skydiving school here, they have super experienced instructors not to mention the amazing facility with top of the line equipment. Everyone here is always in a good mood willing to help you with any questions or concerns you may have as a tandem or AFF student.
Come here, bring your pets and kids they’ll have a great time playing in the open green area. They also have a restaurant with decent food.

Just did my first tandem jump with these guys. Great experience. I felt totally at ease with these instructors. Can’t wait to go back. Very laid back atmosphere down there. These guys are pros.
