We visited the Memorial this evening after seeing it on Unilocal for the past year. What a tragedy and it’s nice to have the Memorial. I noticed the photo here on Unilocal of a man coming out of the sewer, that actually isn’t there but there is a nice bench and the two memorial stones. It’s too bad it’s not easier to see and a little more cared for. We’re glad we went.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of this memorial. This is a memorial that is near my friends home. It’s easy to find just off Dixie hwy and centennial ave. by US Cavalry and across from the new gas station. Three sewer workers and a police man was overcome by dangerous sewer gas. Over the years a pair of shrubs have matured there have been some additions. To the memorial. A plaque and a bench as well. 25⁄2014
