Specialties

Our specialties are military history, romance (including paranormal romance) and all other types of books, including a large selection of used books.

We also have a good selection of gift lines, with a lot of faires and dragon sculptures.

Our store is totally unique and fun!

History

Established in 1976.

It was always my dream to open a bookstore. I knew from about the 7^th grade on that that was what I wanted to do.

After teaching high school for 3 years, I was able to open The Bookstore and it has been fantastic ever since.

Because Fort Knox is our neighbor to the north, we have always had a very large section of military history and we have arranged it chronologically – from Ancient Greece and Rome to Medieval, Napoleonic, Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War 1, World War 2,

Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Gulf War, etc.

We carry a lot of the Osprey titles also,
