History

Established in 1997.

Opened in 1997, Warren Eye Care Center is a private optometric practice. We take the time to get to know our patients and their vision correction and ocular health needs.

We will get to know you and will strive to treat you as a friend, not a patient.

You might also see the office mascots in the lobby. We have been fortunate enough to purchase one of the public art pieces from Racine in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Our Office

We moved into our current location in the south court yard of the North Point Shops in June of 2005 after spending almost 8 years in our former location in the north court yard. The move gave us the room that we needed to serve our patients’ needs and maintain the personal level of service that our patients have come to expect since 1997.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Warren grew up in Whitewater, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-​Whitewater is a 1992 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. He and his wife and sons live on Racine’s north side near the office.

Dr. Warren has published numerous articles in the optometric press, and frequently speaks at national optometric meetings. Dr. Warren served as the 2003 President of the Wisconsin Optometric Association.

Dr. Warren is also a software developer, having a hand in the creation of EyeCodeRight, the electronic medical record that is used at Warren Eye Care Center.

The company that distributes the Retinal Thickness Analyzer, Macuscope and the 3D Wave Aberrometer/​TRS that are used in the office, Marco, has retained Dr. Warren as a consultant also.

He and his family enjoy bicycle riding, skiing and traveling. Dr. Warren’s special clinical interests include difficult contact lens fittings, pediatric and geriatric eye care.
