I needed my front windshield replaced because a large rock and glass don’t mix well. I was able to get an appointment in less than 24 hours. The glass techs were friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. They checked the integrity of all windows and glued the molding on the rear window which was loose. I love my new front windshield. Wouldd highly recommend using this shop!

They just lost my business. It was a hassle to get them to do any work. I intially set up an appointment to get my windshield replace and never received any follow up. I had to call in and give them a claim number. I requested OEM and the lady on the phone told me to call in and ask for approval when it was supposed to be her job to do this. I called in anyways and my insurance company told me that Safelite need to call in and provide the quote to get approve for OEM windshield replacement. Overall, bad customer service. I believe the person on the phone is lazy to do her job. I took my business elsewhere. Problem solved :)

Smooth experience. Fast and reliable. Will definitely choose Safelite for next time I need.

Well. Had an appointment for at home service from 8 am — noon today — no show. No call. They tend to steer you away from in shop service — maybe because they prefer to have customers wait all day at home?
Watch out for «upsell» of windshield wipers.
I called and customer service rep. not really apologetic. Supposedly technician on the way. Will update this review once work is done.
Updated 7÷14÷15 — I did had repair done. I would call it «satisfactory» only because the repair that was made has made the little nick in the window (which is at eye level) appear even wider and more noticeable than before it was fixed. I guess I had thought that if the damage was at eye level the whole windshield would have been replaced but not my call I guess.

Places like this will always get business because they are the preferred provider of insurance company’s. But it doesn’t mean it’s quality work, had my windshield done here and has been leaking ever since, not a small leak either.

Safelite has been to my home 4 times — so far! The first time to say, yes, you need a new windshield. The second time to replace the windshield. BUT then my rain sensor stopped working so they came a third time when I was told the rain sensor in the glass was defective and that they would need to order a «better» piece of glass. During the 4^th visit the guy showed up with a tool kit — no new piece of glass — and tried to fix the rain sensor. Didn’t work. Now he tells me that they’ll order a «better» piece of glass (for real this time!) and come back to replace the glass. That will be appointment #5. It’s important to know that each visit requires me to keep a 4 hour window open waiting for their arrival. I think 1 star is justified.

The nasty snow caused my windshield to crack… great because driving wasn’t fun enough in the winter. I called my insurance company on Friday. I brought my car in 9 AM Saturday, I was back in my car at 10 AM Saturday, Seamless and easy peasy.
Customer services and the workmanship here is A+

This place is awesome. Very professional and amazing customer service. Not only did they repair my windshield but also cleaned my car and even let me inspect the vehicle and offered me the option of out right replacing it.

Don’t get me wrong, their customer service here is awesome but don’t get con into buying a really expensive windshield wiper blade. 4 months after getting my old blades replaced for their highest end blades, the new wipers started making all sorts of squeaky noises and did not clear the water from my windshield at all. Mind you, I replaced them in April and didn’t have to use them very much because of the nice weather. I’m just annoyed I paid (I think) around $ 50 for new, high end blades and they didn’t last me even a year.

I had a crack in my windshield and Safelite AutoGlass was recommended by my insurance company, and I’m so glad they were! Initially, they were going to repair my windshield. The morning of the repair I received an email with the technician who I’d be meeting shortly. This email was followed by a phone call letting me know when to expect them. He was very professional and friendly. After inspecting the crack, he informed me it needed to be replaced. I brought my car into the Quincy location for the repair. I was greeted by a friendly staff and a clean waiting area. Once the car was finished, they also cleaned all of my windows and vacuumed the front of my car– an added bonus! They did a great job repairing my windshield, and my inspection sticker, transformer, and rearview mirror were exactly as they were prior to replacing it. Having repairs done to your car can be a hassle and anything but enjoyable. Thankfully, It was an overall enjoyable and easy experience, which I greatly appreciate! Thanks!

My experience with Safelite was nothing short of amazing. I received an email notification immediately after booking my appointment online confirming all my details. The morning of my appointment I received an email with a picture of my technician and a biography so I knew who to expect. It happened to rain today so the tech offered to pick up my car and do the work at their garage. The car was done in about an hour and returned to me before lunch! Fast, friendly and professional I would recommend them to anyone looking for auto glass work!

In an epic «What Would You Do?» scenario when gravel comes off the back of a truck you’re following on 128 at 70mph, you are faced with three options: swerve to avoid the gravel and risk causing an accident, slam on the brakes and risk causing an accident, or drive through the gravel and hope for the best. So what did I do? Well, I took the latter of the options and plowed through the rain of rocks, salt, and sand. And what did that get me? A decent sized crack in the windshield. (Insert long sigh here).
Aside from the catchy television and radio commercials, I did some research and decided on calling Safelite to get the crack repaired. They took care of calling my insurance company, setting up the claim, and setting up an appointment. Their 1 – 800 number was easy to use and best yet, you actually talked to a live human being to help you set up the appointment.
The staff at the garage were so pleasant to deal with. They explained the entire process — the crack could be repaired and although it would never be totally seamless, it would be a small blemish. However, the work was guaranteed and if I needed the windshield replaced, they would take care of it and bill my auto insurance company accordingly crediting the cost of the initial repair. The crack wasn’t that bad and when the work was finished, it was barely noticeable!
Overall, the entire process took about a half hour from start to finish. The garage is very easy to find off Quincy Center. There is an ample waiting room (no wi-​fi, oh well) with a Keurig coffee machine available.
But not having to actively deal with your insurance company (although, I had to and that’s another review) and to have your auto glass needs taken care of in a professional and inviting atmosphere is what sets this place apart. I will gladly go back if and when I were to ever need their services.
As part of their service, they also vacuum the front of your car and wash your windows, too. As a dog-​owner, that service is valuable.

I had a crack in my windshield and at first, I thought I would only need to get it repaired but it ended up that my whole windshield would need to be replaced. Safelite staff were extremely helpful, from scheduling my appointment to explaining the work done to my vehicle afterward. I was originally going to go in to the shop but changed my appointment for them to come to me, which was extremely convenient. I had Paul work on my car and he was great. He called me earlier in the day to let me know the time frame and when he got to my house, started right away working on the windshield. He also cleaned the rest of the windows and vacuumed the front rugs! And at the very end, he was good about going over the work he had done and explained the Safelite warranty. Needless to say, I am very impressed with their professional staff and the great work done to my car.

Very Dissapointed. I had my glass replaced by SafeLite twice and both times something end up broken. Most recent was the guy started working on the car, he knocked on the door 10min later and said the plastic piece was already broken by the windshield wipers. Then after he finished and left, i noticed broken plastic screws on the ground, open up the hood just to find NOTHING secured, screws missing/​broken or not secured at all. Manager of the shop was ARGUING with me that the screws were there before work started. Nothing was done until 5 calls later to the main 800 number of SafeLite, mind you, they are horrible, i kept getting told they would call me back since shop wouldnt pick up the phone, and all 4 time they did not.
The very 1^st time when i had work done on different vehicle, they broke the trim securing clips that sit on the windshield, and instead of replacing them, they glued the trim with adhesive, i spoke to the manager, he told me «Its fine». Im never ever getting work done by them again. My brand new windshield was damaged days after replacing it, called for pricing, Safelite told me $ 120 to repair a chip while other places are $ 75, but it cost me $ 240 to replace windshield??? No thanks, never again.

My windshield recently sustained a chip from a piece of gravel kicked up from the road. I called Safelite that morning, and they quickly set me up with an appointment for later in the afternoon. I did not have access to my insurance card, so the representative called my insurance company on conference-​call and I was able to confirm the information.
The Safelite facility was clean and well-​lit. The clerk at the front counter was friendly and courteous, and offered me a bottled water while I waited the thirty minutes for the chip to be fixed. The technician was equally friendly, and he explained the glass repair process and what to expect. The work was done quickly, and they also replaced my wipers for an additional twenty dollars (the glass was covered by my insurance policy).
An excellent company to deal with!

Super convenient…
They tried to fix the chip in my windshield. The resin didn’t really look super good, so they decided to replace the entire windshield. Super professional, made my bmw look good as new. Two thumbs up! Highly recommend. They worked directly with my insurance company and I didn’t have to do anything.

While watching my son’s high school baseball game recently, a towering foul ball arched over the backstop and through the rear windshield of my parked Toyota Camry! Remembering that Safelite Autoglass was less than a mile away I quickly called. The phone rep was outstanding, took down all the necessary information and had a great sense of humor about my accident. She scheduled my glass replacement and suggested I go to the shop to have the car vacuumed and plastic installed.
The guys at the stop were very attentive and accommodating as they got me «road-​worthy» in under 15 minutes. A day later I arrived for my appointment. Again, attentive and offering coffee as I waited. I was shocked when in less than 40 minutes I was handed the keys to my car, my paperwork was complete and they coordinated everything with my insurance company.
These folks understand customer service and deliver it with a smile!

This is my second time at this Safelite in Quincy, and both experiences have been great. This morning I dropped off my car, walked to get coffee, came back and my windshield had been repaired, windows cleaned of all the salt/​snow/​ice and sparkling. I was very happy with the service… everyone was friendly and helpful.

The women that ran the front desk was out to lunch when I arrived. One of the technicians was expecting me and greeted me when I got out of my car. Everyone here is very professional and nice. This was my second time here. They did a great job replacing my front windshield. It was nice that they cleaned all the windows and vacuumed my car too!
