Regina Russell’s Tea Room

I first had a tarot card reading by one of the Regina Russell mediums at a private event. A friend of mine is a medium, so I was curious as to what would come up with the cards. I was amazed at names she was pulling out and really had an incredible reading. The first thing I did was plan a date for my mom and I to visit the tea room. They take walkins but you can make a reservation if there is someone in particular that you want to see. Occasionally you don’t connect with someone so my mom and I went to two different sessions each. Our first reading was together which I wouldn’t recommend because sometimes the information bleeds between. We experienced much direct and better readings separately and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Kate for readings. I have seen her twice in the past couple months and she is my new go to. She has been able to pick up on specific details surrounding the questions I have asked about. Some predictions have cone to pass, others I’m still waiting on. She also does not sugar coat.

I’ve gone here about once a year for the last few years and I’ve never had an outstanding reading but its always been a positive experience. However I went about a month ago after my friend passed away and got a spirit reading and I was furious by the time I left.
The first thing the woman who was reading me says was «did someone just pass?» and that was the only accurate thing she said for the next half hour, and its a spirit reading, so yeah, someone passed. Everything was wrong so i pointed her in the right direction by telling her who i wanted to speak to, a close friend who had passed a month before.
My friend had commit suicide so it seemed odd that the second thing the woman said was «she fought so hard to stay alive». So I told her my friend had taken her own life and thought well maybe she means battling depression? At this point she starts talking about how she had used pills and my friend had a problem with drugs, even going into detail about how she could feel the pills stopping her heart. None of this was true, she didn’t use drugs in life or in the way she died and at this point I am getting very mad because those are things you assume when someone takes their own life but not true at all for this specific situation.
It got worse, she told me that my friend who I had come to the physic with and my friend who had passed were very close as well (they were from different groups of friends and had never met).
I mentioned my BF spoke Spanish so she went on to describe his home in South America on a farm, my BF is from Spain, Europe and grew up in Madrid.
At the end of our conversation it was apparent that i was upset and so she said «you’re friend is upset with you and she isn’t coming though anymore»… I would give this place a one if this was my only experience there but I have had more pleasant experiences in the past but I’m never going again. They really need to screen who the hire.

I enjoy coming here when ever I do but I don’t think it’s ok for staff who work here to tell or say to others that they’ve seen us come into the tea room before or that they know the customers. It should be private or confidential. No one has to know that I come here for a reading. ;)
Other than that I love it here Laura and Tina are great!

I’ve been here twice. I had a weird reading with my girlfriend back in April and it focused more on her than us as a couple. The second time I went it did give me some insight on things in my future. She was very accurate but she told me I wouldn’t end up with my soulmate, which I didn’t like. i ordered a palm reading and 15 minute private tarot reading and she ran out of time and never gave me my palm reading. Oh well. I will be back, but not for that woman. She seemed more to look at me in judgement and talk to me as my mother would. She focused more on maternal instinct than she did on the cards.

Great experience! My boyfriend was a skeptic. After we left he wasn’t a skeptic anymore. I had a awesome session!

Went here last Thursday for a 30 minute tarot card reading. Accurate and enjoyable. Love coming here every few years or so, so much fun.

The reading you get, based on accuracy or connection, is based on the reader. I do feel like it really varies from person to person, so one reader may be good for someone but not for someone else. For me personally, I felt like Tina was a bit mean and rude and didn’t seem to want to extend the reading because she probably was disinterested. Plus, I feel like her predictions are not that accurate. Meanwhile, David is really really nice and caring, and I have read with him a few times and I find him to be sympathetic. What I like is that he doesn’t care about the time, he usually does go overtime without charging you to answer all your concerns and questions! I also like how the hostess is really friendly.

Nice place and love the reading menus. As for readers, not impressed. Mostly fakes. And ive tried at least five. There was one woman whose name i cant remember that was spot on for my situation. If i couldnt find her again, id skip this place altogether in the future.

Ive been coming here for years. Ive brought in a lot of friends who’ve for the most part had good experiences as well. There was only one time that my sister was getting a vague/​weird reading from this guy that we asked to stop the session and they did and got us someone else that was much better. It was a little awkward but its a rule they have. If after 2 – 3 minutes you’re not feeling it you can switch. They offer to record sessions for a fee but they offer pen and paper for free if you want to take notes, which I recommend. Its a fun place to go. Its not too expensive and I almost always get a bit of information to chew on. The 15 minute combo is my favorite. You get a reading and then something else, astrology or palm readings I like best. The crystal ball although cool seeming didn’t turn up anything very important. I did a past life regression once. They have to hypnotize you for the session. When I was hypnotized I didn’t feel like I was very deeply under but the past life we talked about was very useful to know about and it was worth it. Ive since moved away but my friends and I still try to get together and go on birthdays and stuff. I do tarot myself but sometimes you need an outsider’s view of what is going on.

I only wanted a palm reading, but they said you also have to pay for tarot cards as well, which I was not interested in but did anyway. I was quoted thirty minutes, then someone came out and said it would only be fifteen minutes?
The woman I had was friendly but said some strange things that were way off. Like i had been engaged or married before… Nope! That I moved from NH… Nope!
Anyway, no connection and nothing came to fruition and I did not get anything close to what I had gone in for.
High prices and experience mean i wont be back.
Oh, and I really was not impressed when the first question my reader had was: ‘what is your sign’… So fraudulent… She then proceeded to recite what I could have read online!

Not impressed. I just got back from my tarot card reading and tea leaf reading. The lady seemed to know what the cards meant, but most of the cards made no sense. Some things were spot on, but most things were not accurate. Maybe it was just the reader I had, but she was just saying a-​typical things like «you’re a determined person. You fight for what you want». Let’s just say I will not be back.
I’m just glad the tea was good. (Although I did inhale a ton of tea leaves)

I had a 15 minute private tarot card reading and it was kind of uneventful. The reader didn’t seem have any sort of special intuitive or psychic abilities. She knew the meanings of the cards and how they fit together in a reading but I didn’t get any information I didn’t already know.
One thing in particular that bothered me is that my reader didn’t use reverse cards. When I shuffled them, I did so to guarantee some reversed cards because I think they’re incredibly important in a reading. That was a bit frustrating.
She didn’t ask what I was there to learn, she just started reading the cards. When she saw the five of pentagrams she said something to the effect that I have money problems. I said no. She said the person that card represents has had money problems. Ok. Sure. I don’t know this person well enough to know if he has or has not ever had money problems.
In the end, she gave me an ok reading that was somewhat accurate if you turn your head and look at it the right way but she was dead wrong on the biggest point of all. I was trying figure out if I should quit my job or not and she explicitly said «No» when I asked her at the end of the reading. I stayed at my job until it became unbearable and am starting a new one tomorrow.

Me and my mom have been going here for years! Leanne is the absolute best, she’s almost spot on with everything and has even predicted names! Everyone in the place is super nice and makes you feel welcome!

this place is very very good, and Ive been going here for years. Not everyone is as good as the other, but I am not going to name names on who I feel is mediocre because I do not believe in trashing someone’s good name. What would be a bad connection for me with a psychic may be a good connection for you. There was one very young reader who was 100% wrong in everything he told me and when I called him on it he just shrugged his shoulders and said that’s what the cards say. I don’t really think every psychic can have a strong connection with everyone they meet, so again I can only say who I have had luck with.
In all the years I’ve been there that has only happened 1 time, where it was 100% dead wrong. There are readers that rely a lot on the cards for interpretation but then there are people who really use their gifts. There is one psychic who yells your business on the top of her lungs, I can even hear her in private readings doing this to other people so if you want privacy don’t get a floor reading and request your psychic to be soft spoken.
Debbie, Tina, and David are the ones who have been the most accurate and consistent for me in things manifesting, one time I had Debbie predict a friend was going to stop by my house looking for me, peeping in my windows as she was reading about it, he was literally texting me telling me he was there and stopped by. She also described a young man I was going to meet and sure enough, within 1 month I met him and thought of her reading. David has had similar readings with me right down to predicting I was meeting someone getting it right on what he did for work. I probably wouldn’t have agreed to that blind date if it weren’t for David’s reading. And Tina predicted my friends baby was going to be a baby girl (they waited to find out) guessed said her name would be Isabella (it was Ella). Debbie, Leeane, and Tina do not sugarcoat for you and they tell you like it is which is nice. Ive had psychics come off as giving too much good news, only to find that the good things they said would arrive did not. But that’s ok this is for entertainment only.
If you phone in a reading the rates are sky high, you are better off coming in. Parking is free and easy (unlike at Tremont in Boston) and its not too far from the highway. This place is really good when you need people to entertain your stuff for 15 to 30 minutes but I don’t recommend leaving feeling everything they say is gospel because it may not be. You only pay for the experience and to have a different point of view on your life.
to the previous poster who took a photo of the interior and said the place resembled a brothel, that is a harsh statement. you need tables and chairs to lay the cards out on and put your beverage on, I don’t know what other set up would be better, what do you suggest would be better movie theater seating?
I think their prices are reasonable all things considered, Ive only seen 1 price increase in all the years ive seen them.
I will always be a loyal customer. they are consistent with their talent and they are the only place where Ive not run into diva readers or overemotional ones.

My father took me to Regina Russell’s Tea room in January 2004. He always went at the start of the New Year and would write down their predictions and see how many were right at the end of the year. I went along and got a reading. I was 23 at the time. The lady told me ‘You are going to meet the love of your life this year.’ Of course I thought this was fantastic.
She then says ‘He will have green eyes. He will be from another country and be older than you. I see him working in the construction field. He already has children. You’ll have 2 girls very soon and then you will have a boy a long time later.‘
I went home and told my Mom ‘Nice, I’m going to marry some old foreign guy who has kids already.’ And I was determined not to let this come true. After all, I was only in my early 20’s.
In July 2004, I met my now husband. Five years older, green eyes, bricklayer, has 2 children. And he was from Ireland.
We have now been married for 8 years, we have 2 little girls and no plans to have anymore. (But I wouldn’t be surprised if we got an unplanned arrival in years to come. They really are surprisingly accurate with their predictions. And this coming from a complete non-​believer.

I’ve been read by Tina for the last 2 – 3 years. She is a wonderful woman and has very good insights! All my friends that I recommended loves her and now are her regulars! She is sweet but she will say it all no holding back! Prep yourself. Tarot is a guidance to understanding things that happened in life is how I see it !! Love the place and the hostess is very nice!

This place is awesome-​no doubt about that! It is very welcoming and the hostesses are always friendly and wait on your right away. I have had readings by a few different people there and they are very accurate and make you feel comfortable-​not creepy! lol
Tina is a-​mazing. A-​MAziNG! She is freaking fabulous! So much fun and really really accurate! She will prove any skeptic wrong. I highly recommend her if you want someone to tell you how it is, even information you might not be ready to hear. She is so accurate it is scary (in a good way)! I have never had any problems with someone being rude or «just making things up.» Don’t go anywhere else-​this is one of the only places that are not a rip-​off.

Tina might be the real deal, but I wasn’t very impressed with the rest.
It’s mainly a tarot place, so I’d skip the combination and save some money.

I’ve been to the tea room fairly often for the last 5 or so years. I’ll typically go between one and four times per year.
They seat you down and you get a complimentary drink as you wait. There’s a menu of readings and a little binder with horoscopes that you can look at before you order up what you want.
Typically I get the 15 minute tarot reading. I’ve had mostly fantastic experiences with this and have found a lot of predictions come to pass. They’ve been really specific too! One of the psychics even predicted a breakup with my then-​boyfriend, citing that his being a workaholic would be the reason. I didn’t believe it. At the time we had no issues whatsoever and no hint of trouble on the horizon. Yet he dumped me about a month later because he had no time for me — he got more hours at his job and had to take them. Another person saw that I’d be traveling soon (I was in the process of becoming a flight attendant at the time.)
I think that you either «click» with the psychic or you don’t. There is a table tent at every seating in the place that says, if you find the psychic you’re paired with is way off you can ask for a new person.
I’ve had one psychic who injected a few too many of her own personal opinions about relationships into her readings, but everyone else has given readings that went above and beyond.
I did a past-​life reading today and the guy I talked to was so enthusiastic about what he saw, that he went over the allotted 15 minutes! What he had to say about what he saw was very interesting. A little all-​over-​the-​place, but ultimately he tied it together with the stuff he found in common with each life he saw.
