Quincy Dental

My girlfriend made an appointment 3 weeks ago to have a tooth pulled .the doctor only works every other Friday morning. So after waiting at least a month for an appointment they just called her and canceled I really hope she doesn’t have an infection people can die from that. That was very unprofessional of them. Not to mention she is a teacher and it is very hard to take a day off they have to get a substitute teacher and take several other steps to make it happen. We will not be going to QUINCY DENTAL EVER AGAIN!

I’ve been going to them for a few years now. I don’t agree with the people below. This office and Dr. Thomas are great.

I am sorry for the other 2 people. This office is great. I never have a problem with anyone. They are so nice and always helpful. I always get an appointment. I have been going here for a few years now and never experienced what the other 2 people experienced.

I have to say Quincy Dental is by far the most questionable dentist office I have ever set foot in.
I was seen by Mary Anne Thomas several times and had a negative experience with each encounter. I initially and with each encounter, thought I was overreacting, but in retrospect I was not.
First, they run late constantly. Second, Dr. Thomas struggles with hearing and respecting the patient’s wishes. I asked for more Novocaine before a filling because my mouth was not numb enough and she drilled anyway and I had to yell before she finally agreed to give me more. Thirdly, and the worst part, was that she gave me a silver filling when I specifically asked for a white filling then was dishonest and told me «you asked for that». So, apparently, she just does whatever she wants.
The experiences I had were horrible for someone who has terrible anxiety concerning dentists. I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to go and not waste you time here.
On a lighter note, the dental hygienists were super friendly and nice.

I highly recommend Dr Thomas for the following reasons: 1– Integrity: You will Not be told that you need services that aren’t absolutely required to ensure your welbeing ! 2– Being terrified of drills, her tools are the latest and gets it done in a fraction of the time, and her assistant Vivian is so caring she will also help you get over the fear… 3– she accepts most insurances. 4– the hygienist is attentive, gentle and caring –will not rip your gums apart as done in some other practices to make you incur oral surgery expenses. 5-​unlike many practices Dr Thomas has this practice for over 2 decades always updated with the latest available technology so that all is done for you to keep your own teeth!!! I am willing to travel any distance for the peace of mind she brings to me and my family where dental care is concerned!

Make sure you ask about the cost with that FAT WOMAN at the reception room BEFORE you do anything there because she would deny everything other staff told you in a very rude manner AFTER you complete your visit to rip you off. She should be fired. She alone lowered the quality of the entire service.
More than one of their staff members told me BEFORE the service that I could use the New Patient Offer, and AFTER the service that fat lady simply refused to honor the coupon saying that the other staff members were misinforming me.
As a service provider, it is YOUR FAULT not to train your staff properly and give your patients accurate information. I asked for the price and got confirmed from your staff members, and that was why I chose your service. If you simply denied it after the service and charged me almost four times more, that’s a SCAM.
First of all, your fine print of the coupon doesn’t say that the patient must not have an insurance to use your New Patient Offer. The fine print only says «Limit one coupon per patient. Coupon must be presented at the time of checkout to redeem. Cannot be combined with any other offers.»
Secondly, after I provided all my information to you correctly (that I have an insurance; that I had a 5-​minute visit last year for a second opinion but I didn’t do any new patient’s x-​ray or exam at your place), your staff insisted that I must do a new patient x-​ray and exam to set up a dental record and and told me more than once that I could use the $ 59 New Patient Offer BEFORE THE SERVICE.
So my decision of using your service was based on the information you gave me. You cannot simply deny all the information you gave me AFTER THE SERVICE and charge me 4 times more than the said price.
If I couldn’t trust the information you give me, how would I be able to trust your service?

I had a severe toothache, and it was on a Saturday afternoon, I started making calls, and Quincy Dental was the one I felt, that these people care for their patients. They told me to come right away, and they’ll take me in. I was so happy, the fact, it’s Saturday and I don’t have to wait until Monday or even after, like other dentists that I called told me. Quincy Dental doctors are very professional and most importantly they care about their patients. They did a great job, and their price was more than fair. When I go there, I don’t feel that I’m going to a dentist, it’s like I’m visiting my family.
