One of the best Vietnam restaurants. Especially when you consider the price. Have been there for many times. They bring food really fast, even when the room is crowed. The only problem is the parking. Most of the time you need to park on the street. But it’s not easy to find one there.

I’ve been here a few times for the phở. I like the chicken phở number 39. My friends have had the round Eye steak phở. the service is good, friendly, smily, and thanked us on our way out.

The menu isn’t as large as all the other phở places I’ve been to but for some reason I actually like it better here. I feel like because their menu isn’t as large they get to focus on each of the dishes and make it perfect. I had the rice plate combo and it was pretty darn good, egg was cook perfectly the meat was flavorful, service was amazing. Oh and their hot chili oil, let me tell you something. I love to pour a nice spoonful of it over my bed of rice, and from all of the places I’ve been to I’ve never experience chili oil that was THAT spicy, I’m 100% sure that it was home made because I went through 4 cups of water. Make sure you test out the spicy level before deciding to scoop a whole bunch in your sauce or your entrees. Overall I enjoyed dining here. Keep up the good work!

I prefer phở linh over countryside for the quality of food and also customer service is usually very good here. Waitstaff is polite and speedy, I also like the viet iced coffee and lime soda so much. Ambiance is very next after the remodel/redecorating. Side note: Sriracha bottles are always clean.

Very great customer service. My favorite is the rice dishes and sometimes I’ll order a phở. The scariest part is visiting the restroom because you can smell how stinky it is before you even walk to the door. It is really stinky that I would suggest to clean with bleach and throw away the dirty mop. Leave a Febreeze in there too. All the servers are very efficient but just please make sure that the restrooms are clean. Fresh air and just basically clean everywhere. Thank you!

Excellent banh cuon(Vietnamese raviolis, only available on the weekend), very good Phở Dac Biet, better than Phở Pasteur or Le’s). Also had grilled beef lemongrass skewers that were good but slightly on the oily side. The fried rolls Cha gio were average and i wouldnt order them again. The décor is very pleasant and above average for a vietnamese restaurant. Friendly service and you don’t feel pushed out the door even though the place was full. Would recommend it and come back.

Average experience, but fine for lunch any time. We had a seafood crêpe which was something new for us.

Much better than old Phở Hoa. Food is good and comes with all utensils unlike phở countryside.

Nothing too impressive. Phở too bland. :/

This location used to be the old Phở Hoa, but i like Phở Link better. I liked that the menu is condensed and the portions are huge. I have this weird affair with phở since I crave is for months on hand and when i am lazy there are only some places that can help me get my fix. The service here is extremely quick so honestly you can come in for a quick lunch/dinner and leave pleasantly. Plus for a decent amount you won’t burn a hole in your wallet. For the new phở diners definitely try the beef phở’s with everything as well as the noodle dishes that are packed full of veggies and rice plates that ar just like how vietnamese people eat at home. Honestly, the location is clean and the food is decent when you want some viet food. The service can be worked on since they are always talking in vietnamese and sometimes they are yelling rude things about the customers that are shocking.

I used to dislike Phở Hoa, the previous occupant of this property, for it’s lack of quality and quantity. This spot is a little better but I’m still not all that thrilled. The spring rolls are okay, but nothing special. The skins are passable and the shrimp and pork fillings are acceptable. You get a decent amount of shrimp, vermicelli. and vegetables. The dac biet is fine, and you get a decent amount of bean sprout garnish. The portion of noodles and beef aren’t bad. However, the broth is just mediocre, with a lack of spice and levels of flavor in the broth. The bo bun hue is disappointing, with the broth lacking spiciness and the pork pieces tasteless. The pork tasted like random blobs of gray meat. The décor here is an upgrade to the previous restaurant. Service is okay, but a bit inexperienced and cold. I’m not expecting 5-star service here but for goodness sake, show a pulse.

I came here with a friend on Friday evening for dinner. We arrived at around 7:30PM and were seated right away. To start, we shared the Grilled Pork Spring Roll appetizer. The peanut sauce was delicious! I think they mixed some additional sauces, like soy sauce, because it was saltier than regular peanut sauce. The rolls themselves were decent. Nothing spectacular, just a good, light spring roll. They are also quite small. I highly recommend the Hue Special Soup! I almost always order the standard combination phở, and wanted to be more adventurous. The beef broth was very flavorful. The noodles were kind of a thick spaghetti, and were a nice change from the usual Phở noodles. Unless you are famished, go with the large size. That’s what I ordered, and I could barely finish it. My favorite part of the restaurant is the ambiance. I have been to comparable phở places in Chinatown, and they are usually pretty dingy. At Phở Linh, I feel like I am eating at a restaurant that charges twice the price that Phở Linh does! I also like that their menu has photos of the different meat options. Despite visiting many phở restaurants, I can never remember the difference between the various meats(What’s an «eye round steak»? What’s a «flank»?) The photos are such a thoughtful gesture, yet I have never seen them anywhere else.

Phở is delicious. Everything else is delicious. Customer service is friendly and communicative. You get the same quality food both with take out and dine in. Good: everything. Especially the food and the employees. Very clean and looks more like upscale dining without white table cloth. Bad: small parking lot

Phở Linh has great appetizers and okay phở. The phở tastes like any other Vietnamese restaurants. Nothing special. Their customer service, however, is AWFUL! I came here yesterday and waited 10 mins to get seated. The restaurant was busy, but there were empty tables, and the hostess was standing there talking to her friend. She didn’t even greet us. At this point I was still patient. They served us tea, but didn’t ask if we wanted something else to drink. Instead they rushed to the back. After that, I waited at least 15 minutes before I was completely fed up and rushed over a waiter. If I didn’t call him over, I’m pretty sure I would’ve waited for at least 20 minutes. Mind you I was starving and I thought phở was a place where you can get the food fast and leave fast. Nope, not for this restaurant. We ordered and the food was great. It took the waiter forever to get us the check(no surprise there). We asked them to pack both our bowls of phở up, but they screwed up(of course) and only packed one bowl up. Waiter came back and told her I wanted my bowl to be packed up too and she rolled her eyes at me. She is SO lucky my boyfriend paid because if it was me, I would’ve given her a 10% tip for the long wait and bad attitude. I’m only giving this place 2 stars because I like the food. I’ll be back.

We ventured into Phở Linh a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised. This phở restaurant took over the old Phở Hoa space and is really a welcome change. They’ve done some minor updates to the restaurant giving it more of an earthy zen feel but it was more the service and the food that made our overall experience much better than its predecessor. At first, we were a bit put off by the menu as it is more limited than your typical Vietnamese restaurant but we were all able to find something that pleased our palettes. We ordered the grilled chicken rice plate, tofu vermicelli bowl and an XL Phở Dac Biet. The verdict? We had a good 10 minutes of zero table conversation. It was that good! The girls loved their chicken and my friend said his phở was so good that he could’ve had a second helping. My vermicelli bowl was also among one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend all three of these dishes here. The waitstaff came over often and made sure the orders were taken quickly and took care to help us with substitutions as well. The girls had issues with the salad that came with their chicken plate but we were able to sub that for steamed broccoli. Huge plus since many other phở restaurants don’t this very well. I think we’ve found our new local go to phở place now and we will be back for more.

I recently moved from West to North Quincy, and one of the considerations in the move was access to Phở. You see, I regularly go to Phở Countryside, a great, if modest, restaurant in Quincy near Braintree and the Kam Man grocery store, for my soup victuals. Phở Countryside’s version is redolent with cinnamon, cardamom, and just a hint of acrid citrus, along with generous helpings of the expected bean sprouts(the Vietnamese call this Gia), lime(voi) wedges, and basil(ngo thom). The negative is, of course, the overabundance of salt, evinced by every pale patron’s cry for icy refreshment. I am not perturbed by the sodium chloride myself, but I don’t mind not going home and drinking 1000 milliliters of water after my meal either. I was relieved and comforted in the knowledge that near my new abode stood Phở Linh(formerly known as Phở Hoa, or as Unilocal called it in its inimitable way, Phở Hoa 4). I walked into Phở Linh on a Sunday morning with my paramour and was immediately caused to cry«troi dat!»(oh my god!) for the space is modern, clean, and welcoming. We were seated promptly by a hostess with a pleasing demeanor and countenance, and greeted promptly by an attentive and skilled server. We proceeded to order an exquisite lemongrass-scented chicken skewer appetizer, along with a bowl of chicken phở(Phở Ga — her) and regular phở with meatballs and steak(me). The delicate lemongrass chicken skewers came out in a timely manner, garnished tastefully but also adventurously by dry cooked noodles, basil, and other greenery. The flavor was complex and savory, with the supple tenderness of the chicken embraced by the tangy brightness of the lemongrass. Next came the phở. It was excellent: delicate, sophisticated, and hearty. While it lacked some of the depth of flavor of Phở Countryside, and was rather one-dimensional, that simplicity was appreciated by both of our palates. Flavors of beef and just the tiniest hint of aromatics danced on my tongue, mixed vigorously with the garnishing spices of basil and bean sprouts. Accipitrine at his craft, the server kept us well-supplied throughout the meal. We had ample black tea at a very high temperature, and although he was in no way invasive, our server kept us readily supplied with accouterments. The menu indicated that June 25 is Opening Day for Phở Linh. Beware, Phở Countryside: there’s a new Phở in town.

Excellent little new spot. House phở with crab, steamed pork, ground pork, calamari, quail eggs, crisped pork skin, green onions and scallions. Shrimp meatballs also in a flavorful seafood broth with clear noodles. Excellent. A few glitches in service but otherwise awesome!
