GOODFOOD! Great service. Clean. Really tasty food. The buffalo burger was good. Fish and chips were good. We will eat there every time we go thru Quincy.

I tried the fish & chips as well as the shrimp & chips. The pieces of fish are huge, the two piece is more than enough for lunch. The shrimp was nothing too exciting. The menu also has wild game. If I go back to Quincy, I’d definitely try one out.

Not everywhere you go can you find a good fish sandwich. I’m in love, I’ve been here twice for the fish sandwich dipped in cornmeal, YUM!!!

I watch tourists waiting in line for a burger at the other place when the best ones in town are right here. the burgers are awesome and the buns are freshly made on the premises. the fresh cut restaurant fries are some of the best I’ve ever had. They also have wild game burgers. Everything is made fresh and it more than worth the wait.

I know a 5 star review for a burger joint in Quincy but trust me, the burgers here are the best you’ll find in this town. From your typical beef burger to kangaroo you can pretty much have it anyway you would like it. I had the pleasure of enjoying the teriyaki burger on Tuesday and Thursday this week(yes I enjoyed it that much)! The buns are fresh baked and the house cut French fries are huge! You can also enjoy a homemade potato salad, delicious, or crinkle cut fries which I haven’t tried yet. If you think it’s just fish and chips you’re way WAY off! While decorated like an old fish shack it’s got so much more to offer from frogs legs to gourmet burgers to a selection of sandwiches it’s got something for everyone!

We stopped here while we were in Quincy and thought it was really good. The fish & chips were delicious, as was the deep-fried macaroni and cheese as well as the fried shrimp. Service was great and very helpful, they even helped us find a great local swimming hole. Next time we are in Quincy we are definitely stopping by here again. It’s funny how some of the best fish and chips I’ve had are nowhere near the ocean.

Great roadside eatery! Fish n’ chips were perfectly fried, not greasy. Great crinkle fries. I had the corn battered fish sandwich, so good. Catfish was fresh, not muddy at all. Lettuce tomato red onion all fresh cut, and the bead DELICIOUS! The burger buns were the same fresh baked but in burger bun form, great bread. Soft with slightly crisp crust. The coleslaw was fresh, not too sweet & still crunchy. My son had a wild boar Mac n’ cheese burger, he loved it! Daughter had a teriyaki burger. Really good as well. No frozen preformed patty here. Oh and the Mac n’ cheese bits! $ 2.99!!! Ours were a little dark but still gooey and tasty. You know your in the right place when all the local workmen are in line when you arrive! PERFECT place to stop!

OMG! OMG!!! Quincy’s best kept secret. I have driven by so many times and not even thought of stopping because I hardly ever see any cars there and because I’m not a huge fish and chips fan. A friend straightened me out and I went in today. The menu is JAWDROPPING; beyond typical fish and burgers there are all kinds if wild game burgers: wild boar, llama, venison, elk, camel, kangaroo, buffalo, and goat. They have great sides, real shakes, and the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The fish tacos are simple and cheap and 99% as good as you can get in Mexico. I’ve lived in SF for over 30 years and this place is better at this food than any place I’ve ever been. So why no cars in front? Because they do everything from scratch and it’s slow.(Could be 20 min) They have a drive through window. Locals call in their orders and get them to go. Also there is parking in the back. Wait ! Did I tell you that their prices are really affordable. If you like drive in food this is as good as it gets. This little inconspicuous place is almost worth a visit to Plumas Co. Perfect follow up to your mountain bike ride(great trails around Quincy), fishing, hunting, kayaking, skiing outing.

This place has this best burgers anywhere. They make their buns everyday. Also, you cannot find anyplace that has better fries, as these are large fresh cut in both regular or seasoned. The people that run the place are super nice, and the prices are very reasonable. This is the best place in Quincy to have lunch or dinner. The only problem is that they are closed Sunday and Monday, oh we’ll everyone needs a day off. Their menu offers many different types of foods like alligator, buffalo, kangaroo burgers, frog legs(haven’t the nerve to try these yet). Oh ya, they also have great Fish & Chips.

where can you go to get fried frog leggs? here! they were awsome! and the fish and chips where huge! not to mention the 50⁄50 burgers, man you can go on and on with this highly unusuall menu. it was a bit humid here as they have no central air, but for this small town what central air is the front door being open! ha. you can grab and go knowing the food is good.

Stopped in with my parents. We had the fish and chips. It was very good; much better than I was expecting for such a small country place. Fish was a tiny bit overcooked but crispy breading and seemed homemade. The fries were definitely homemade and tasted great. Worth the visit by themselves!

There’s not a hell of a lot to do in Quincy, but it’s a nice drive on a weekend afternoon. I was reccomended this place because in addition to «fish and chips» they serve Wild Game burgers: Elk, Buffalo, Alligator, Kangaroo, etc. Oh, but I didn’t try those. I tried the Volcano Burger: a half pound angus beef cheeseburger with jalapenos, habaneros, ghost chilis, and a homemade sauce. Going down it was fine, very tasty with a bit of heat. Three hours later I felt like there was a cagefight going on in my gut! Still, a very good burger… next time I’ll try the gator one! The french fries are made from fresh cut potatoes, too. Worth the trip to Quincy!
