History

Established in 2003.

C. McGue Landscape Design & Construction was founded by Christopher McGue in the year 2003. As a young entrepreneur, Chris started his business in his own South Quincy neighborhood mowing lawns, spreading mulch, and performing any landscape tasks requested of him. In 2007, Chris was accepted to the University Of Massachusetts Amherst Stockbrige School Of Agriculture, graduating in 2009 with an Associate’s Degree in Landscape Contracting and going on to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Building and Construction Technology in 2011.

Upon graduation from UMass Amherst, C. McGue Landscape Design & Construction proceeded to broaden its client base and grow in size. We have also expanded many of our services over the year to specialize in, landscape development of entire homes and business including large patio, walkway, and retaining wall projects, drainage solutions, excavation/​site work, plantings and lawn instillations.

Business Owner

My name is Chris McGue and I was born in raised in Quincy, Mass. I have been in the landscape and construction field since 2003. I have always prided my self on being very patriotic, extremely hard working, and a devoted business owner. I served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2007 – 2014 as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer stationed In a variety of places. During this time I also obtained two degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, in 2009 for Landscape Contracting and 2011 in Building and Construction Technology. I feel the discipline I received in the military and the education I received at Umass has trained me to be a very well rounded and knowledgeable business man.
