Ayers Collision and Repair

My car was towed and it is cost $ 162. this price way too high, compare to the avg 125 in Boston. Also, i can’t believe that the staff, Nick said that ayers is a private company, they can charge customer whatever they want. This is the way they do business.

I scheduled my detail a week ahead of time and the guy told me that it would be best if they could keep it over night so it could dry. So I brought it in at 11 am and never got a call from them the next morning. When I finally called them the next day I was on hold forever from the first person to whom I spoke to ask about it, until someone else picked up and checked on it for me. He got right back to me to let me know that it would be ready at 2. No apologies, nothing. When I went to pick it up none of the touch ups on the outside had been done so the guy sent me home with touch up paint. Seriously? And the inside was still wet because the guy didn’t even do it until probably the point when I had called. So glad I inconvenienced myself by leaving it overnight… Seriously…
I am giving two stars rather than one because I had my bumper replaced and while it took forever to get it in there they did a good job. Just don’t bother with the detailing.

This company actively engages in predatory towing practices.
I was parked in a loading area outside my apartment, and carried a box inside. When I came back, my car was gone. The car was unattended for literally 5 minutes. The tow driver had been casing the building and waiting for a victim to extort.
Towing company/​contact info was posted nowhere, and the police had no record of the tow. A passing resident informed me of the towing company name, which she knew because the same thing had happened to her 2 weeks prior.
After extorting $ 140 from me to get the car back («cash only!»), the tow truck followed me right back home to start casing the lot again, waiting for his next victim.
I don’t know how I’m going to carry groceries inside with these vultures waiting to ruin people’s night for their own petty gain.
Really disgusting, guys. There are better ways to make a living.

This place is a shitshow! They towed my car because we parked on the street in front of an apt. It’s street parking. Claimed it was in front of driveway, BS. It’s a fucking racket!!!

I went to Ayers about 8 weeks ago now to get a quote on some damage I have from a hit and run– minor dent and some scratches. Got a quote from the Manager at Ayers (Dan), was very polite and helpful. Helped me put in a claim with my insurance company since this is my first car and accident. Got a call from Dan a few days later saying they were pretty busy the next couple days and would give me a call the following week to schedule a time to bring my car in to get fixed. I was perfectly fine with that and appreciated him reaching out to tell me they were busy and would be in contact at a later time to schedule something. However, that’s where it stops as I have not heard from Dan or anyone from Ayers since then (now 6 – 7 weeks and counting). I believe I was/​am being discriminated against since I am a young college student so he (Dan) sees it as I will not be able to pay. However, as I told him before I work full time as well as go to school but still have not heard a word from him or anyone else from there. I will not be going there EVER and hope to hear from Dan specifically to tell him exactly what I mentioned before since his handling of this situation specifically is absolutely unacceptable as a manager.

Amazing service. I had a horrible hit and run on the rear side fender that required cutting, painting, and welding. In the end I could not even find the weld and it looks brand new. Dan was easy and professional to work with and they have good relationships with the insurance and car rental companies.

My 2008 VW Rabbit had new damage from my bumping into an mbta bus and a set of dented scrapes from two years back when I backed up against a cut tree u couldn’t see. The team at Ayers restored my car to brand new in just a few days. They are friendly and professional, a rare combo in the auto world.

My car accident, as minor as it was, is a PRIME example of why old people need their licenses revoked!
I took my car to Ayers and all I had to do was file my initial insurance claim, they took care of all the rest. They even have a relationship with Enterprise Rent A Car and will call them up to reserve a car for you.
It took them about 4 days to replace my front bumper. And not only did they do a terrific job, they vacuumed out my car!!!
Ayers is my little family’s official collision center. Plus they have 24 hour towing.
