As far as I could determine, this was the only motel in operation in Questa this summer. The motel has seen better days as it looks like it has been in decline ever since it was built and all the tourism in the area moved up the mountains to Red River. Despite the sort of run down appearance of the place, I actually thought it was fairly decent and worth the $ 47. The rooms appeared to have original 1960s furniture, fixtures and wall decore(though the mattress was obviously newer and was comfortable). Though there was some wear and tear evident, the room was actually very clean, the doors and windows locked and the AC unit and bathroom fixtures all worked properly. There were metal chairs outside the door on the second floor balcony and it was nice to sit and look at the mountains in the view. It was quite and I slept well. What more could you ask for? So, if you need a place to stay in Questa, don’t be afraid to give it a try.
