Steve is as good as it gets in home inspection. He shows up promptly for the inspection and does a thorough job. He will find issues that other not so diligent inspectors will miss. If you are contemplating buying a new house or investing in a property it pays to have professional such as Steve who will be on your side. His reports are through and comprehensive.

Let me start by saying I never write reviews but I felt as if I needed to. Steve was recommended to me by a co-​worker. I’ve dealt with other home inspectors before on other properties and was satisfied until working with Steve. I arrived at the property about 10min before our appointment and Steve was already on the roof checking it out. He walked me through the property showing and explaining things to me every step of the way. He was very detailed, almost as if he were buying the house himself. He also gave me a lot of safety pointers from a firefighters perspective that made me very comfortable especially since he’s a retired one. Steve is definitely worth using. The report I relieved was the best most detailed I’ve ever gotten. Even my attorney was impressed. He’s a great guy and does amazing work. Not to mention he was also less expensive than others I’ve used. Steve is definitely the way to go.

Steven was extremely accommodating on being able to inspect my new development at such a last minute over the weekend. Even though we had a new development, he was thorough and picked out even small details that we would have never gathered. He did an excellent job explaining, and I would recommend anyone to be there on site with him as he goes through the inspection. The report was fast and nicely constructed. He was very nice, and his reassurance allowed us to be confident in going ahead with the purchase. We would use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone we know.

As a second time home buyer, Steve made me wish he was doing this 11 years ago when I purchased my first home. Steve is extremely thorough and knowledgable. He took his time to take pictures of every aspect of the house (good and bad). He explains what he is looking for and doing every step of the way. He checked every outlet to ensure it was working and wired properly. He is a former New York City Firefighter and his knowledge on fire safety and hazards is invaluable. He even took time out to explain to the current homeowner what she should do immediately to reduce any risk of starting a fire. He truly cares about what he is doing and not just looking to rubber stamp a report so he can move on to the next job. He took his time to open every kitchen cabinet, every window, and tested every door to insure they work properly. It is his attention to detail that made me feel confident in what I am getting myself into. He tested every corner of the basement for water, he even got into the smallet crawl space and looked for any sign of water damage. His post inspection report was extensive and impressive. He provides you with all the pictures he takes, and gives and gives a detailed explanation for everything. If you use Steve, you can feel confident you are getting an honest, detailed report.

As a homebuyer for the 2^nd time I felt that I was not going to make the same mistake as my first home purchase. I thought I would be able to find all the little problems that I missed previously. The owner of the company found many issues with my new home and was able to provide me with a detailed report of his findings. He was well informed and thorough during the inspection and his report was well organized and informative. It helped us to negotiate some of the findings.
