The Chibi Chef

I had to plan my sister’s baby shower from Texas so I used Unilocal to find a custom cupcake place near her. I called a few bakeries and left the Chibi Chef a message. She texted me back and would only communicate through text from then on. I gave her specifics through text with pictures of designs and we agreed on $ 5.50 per cupcake for an order of a dozen. I asked for pictures of the cupcakes while she was making them but never got any response. When I picked up the cupcakes she had made them blue (it was a girl baby shower.) There could have been a bit more communication since I was paying about $ 70 for these cupcakes. They tasted alright like grocery store cupcakes but didn’t go with the baby shower theme at all.

Tried to contact the Chibi Chef 3 times in over a month to make a 2 tier fondant cake for my daughter’s birthday but never received a response. I finally gave up and went with another company who gave me a response in 2 days.
It doesn’t matter how good your cake taste/​look if you have poor Business customer service. At least call or email back and say I’m not available. Chibi Chef is NOT Reliable. Don’t waste your time or money with a company that has poor Business Ethic. You might not even get your cake on time.

I asked Jess to make a two-​tiered cake and cupcakes for my cousin’s baby shower. She was having boy so we had a «Little Man» theme with mustaches and ties. The red velvet cake was decorated with fondant and came out perfectly. It not only looked great, but tasted amazing. I ordered 3 types of cupcakes, but her lychee cupcakes were my favorite. The icing of the cupcakes looked like real roses. I was blown away by everything. She was so professional and such a pleasure to work with. I can’t wait for the next event to contact her for!

Words can not describe this baker’s ability! The taste that flows in your mouth. The sweet, the tart, the unknowing, the surprises, the little smirks after finishing one of her sweets. I recommend this to all my eater fans. You can’t beat this delight! Search for her! Find her! and devour to your hearts content!

Her green tea miniature cupcake balls are soo YUMMY! They’re very moist and taste like they literally just got out the oven.

This past weekend, after a week of colder temperatures, the freak weather decided to turn up a beautiful weekend of sun. I decided to visit the Hester Street Fair one last time before it definitely got too cold. For the first time, the Chibi Chef was debuting her mini cupcakes and treats and it was a delicious treat/​dessert after having my meal. The green tea treat were may absolute favorite. She had two kinds, one with sake and one w/​o and I loved them both! Definitely hit the right spot and statisfied my sweet tooth. yummmmm
