History

Established in 2010.

Showtime Lights, formerly Seward Park Tech is a DJ and Lighting company servicing the Tri-​State area. Our Marquee DJs have years of experience spinning at the most elite night-​clubs around the country, and the lighting crew has designed the lighting and special effects for numerous movies and theater productions around New York City.

Founded in 2011, Showtime Lights has come a long way, earning dozens of 5-​star reviews online and winning prestigious Entertainment awards such as The Knot’s Best of Weddings and Wedding Wire’s Bride’s Choice Award. Seward Park Tech is also a member of the very exclusive Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book.

Business Owner

Kieffer is the lighting designer while DJ Cabo and DJ Ant1 handle the music aspect of your special event. Kieffer brings 20 years of lighting and special effects experience, having worked in NYC theaters and lighting companies as a teenager. DJ Cabo and DJ Ant spin at clubs around NYC and NJ regularly. You can catch DJ Cabo at Webster Hall on most weekends and DJ Ant travels around elite clubs in NY and NJ opening and closing the dance-​floors.

Douglas and Kieffer are a great team and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. They were professional and had great locations picked out for our engagement photos in Brooklyn Heights. We couldn’t be happier– We had a great time working with them and are thrilled with the photos!

Seward Park Tech /​Showtime Lights and Events did the lighting and DJ services for my wedding. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the DJ and lighting. Kieffer was our DJ, and he kept everything on time and I’ve never been to a wedding where people enjoyed the music more and danced more! Further, my wedding was in a large cathedral now used for events, and in order to make it more «event-​y» and less «church-​y» they lit the columns in pinks and purples. It was gorgeous! I HIGHLY recommend their DJ and lighting services! Without going into detail, I thought that the photo booth was a real bust. I wouldn’t use them for this service again, but as I said, their DJ and lighting services were FANTASTIC!

I cannot recommend Kiefer, Anthony and their team highly enough – whatever I say cannot do justice to how incredible they were! Our friend group is primarily in their 30’s and have been to a TON of weddings, and we had at least 30 – 40 people tell us it was the best event DJ they’ve ever experienced. The dance floor was legitimately packed for 3.5 hours from the time dinner ended until the end of the last dance. They brought amazing energy, let the music do the talking, read the crowd, and were the key to making our wedding an immeasurably fun and memorable event.
They are totally on-​point with the details (like mics for the ceremony; different set-​ups for cocktail hour/​dinner) and planning. Announcements were great. We like EDM, old school hip hop, and mashups and that was right up their alley. Also, very strong DJ skills, great song transitions, cued up songs to start at right points – just incredible all around. Can’t say enough about them – best vendor choice we made with our wedding.
