Great food! Never fails to deliver! Hope they don’t shut down like the previous restaurant.

Best Afghan food I’ve had. Highly recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a well priced meal in a nice setting. Way better than any of the Bakhtars or any other Afghan place around. The bread is fresh and the meat is perfect. Highly recommend!

Pamir Kabab, fortunately for me, is right in the neighborhood. This restaurant opened up a couple of months back and it has consistently been 5 star quality in terms of food. The restaurant is zabihah halal, allhumdullilah and it is one of the ONLY restaurants in NEWYORK where you can get HALALSTEAK. Go figure. I have yet to try the steak but I intend to do so soon as well as take photos, so stay tuned for a review update. It’s a fairly big restaurant with friendly people working there. They do have a party hall downstairs to those who care for that. Prices are reasonable especially considering how tasty and tender the kabab are. It is a very traditional style afghan restaurant in terms of taste, so you CANNOT go wrong choosing off this menu. The chicken and lamb is just spot on and the green chutney and the white sauce are both perfect compliments to the food. The only thing that I think holds this restaurant back is its location. It’s on kissena near pomonok and at night, not much traffic goes by there. This place is definitely worth trying as the food will keep you returning.

Came here with a friend for Saturday night dinner around 9pm after getting recommendation from a few people: The place was spacious and comfortable. We were immediately greeted and told us it would be a few minutes as our table was being cleaned(though there were other empty tables, but I guess they were reserved?). After sitting we were handed the menu and asked if we wanted to start off with a drink or a few minutes to decide, we opted to take a few mins. We ordered the 2 piece steak($ 14, one medium one well done), the 5 piece lamb chop platter + additional lamb chop piece($ 16+3), one lamb Tikka($ 4) after asking the waiter which to choose between Tikka or kebab. Orders came relatively quick and amount was just right. Steaks were cooked to our request, salads were fresh, and the meats were seasoned/cooked well. Chops had the right amount of burnt edges. Tikka was good too but not 4 dollars worth. Rice was mediocre, prefer Bakhtars rice. White sauce and green sauce went good with the rice. Sabji(spinach) included in the entrées were appetizing. Overall im very happy to have come here and we enjoyed our time. Staff were friendly and patient with my questions. Congratulations to the owner(s) and thank you. Hope the place maintains its quality and not tangent off due to popularity like Bakhtar did. Deff coming back!

This place is open till 12. Good for those who eat late. The place is pretty clean. We had the lamb chops, strip steak, lamb tikka and combo kabab. Meat was well seasoned and cooked. The place was freezing when we got in. Asked the waiter to turn the heat on — he had a puzzled look. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Would come back again.

Delightful dinner at Pamir after shopping on Kissena Blvd. Chicken and Beef Tikka was very tasty as was my wife’s Chicken Tikka and Kofta. Both platters very reasonably priced and enough left over for lunch the next day! Hostess was very gracious and helpful with information about menu. We ordered her favorites! The meat was delightfully flavorful without without being spicy hot. We’re still trying to figure out what some of the seasonings were!
