4 stars because they are clean and because Jenny and Luz do an amazing job… other then that I really wish they would open early (9am)

I started coming to this salon because my manicurist started working here.
Her name is Carmen and she is awesome! I have been seeing her for over 9 years now and have never had a bad experience with her.
This is a small salon. They also do hair here but I have never visited the salon for hair services so can’t say much about it. I do not believe I have ever spent more than 40 dollars at this salon and I always get a manicure and pedicure sometimes with design (and that also includes 25% gratuity).
They are located in a part Jackson Heights where it isn’t always busy which is great. When I moved out of Jackson Heights I realized how ridiculously expensive these services could be and the technicians aren’t as great. This is why I stick to Carmen even if it means traveling an hour from home to see her!
Oh yea and take the 7 train if you can because you will never be able to find parking in J. Heights.

look for Laura, she did a pretty good job with my haircolor. My hair normally turns brassy so i have to be very careful with it. And she did a terrific job, it came out very nice and i got so much compliments it’s amazing!!! Oh and the price is very reasonable!!!

With so many competing salons in the neighborhood, I can understand the competitive prices. I don’t speak much Spanish, but they understand what I want every time. Even though I can’t understand much of what they are saying, it is never a dull moment listening to them go on and on about whats on tv or simply being so happy at work. For a french manicure and pedicure I pay $ 24. Really reasonable prices. Luz is really awesome with french manicures, they usually last 3 – 4 days without chipping. Everyone does a really good job! They also offer hairstyling services and I’ve witnessed a few really decent blowouts. Overall, if I have a few extra bucks, it’s a nice detour for a great pampering!
