New York Language Center, established more than 27 years ago offers a full range of ESL classes from beginner through advanced TOEFL., including Business English for ESL students. We are certified by the NY State Education Department and authorized by the federal government to enroll non-​immigrant students with an I-​20 visa. New York Language Center Jackson Heights is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation, a nationally recognized accrediting body.

Most of our students come from referrals. Our staff and student population is multicultural l. Our prices are very competitive and our teaching methods are excellent. We have branches in Jackson Heights Queens, the Bronx, the Upper West Side and Midtown Manhattan. We accept credit cards and payment plans are available. Students can choose full time, part time and weekend classes.

History

Established in 1985.

After receiving her M. A degree in TESL from Hunter College and 10 years in the proprietary education sector, the Director opened the first branch of New York Language Center in Jackson Heights Queens with 5 classrooms. Over the years, the school grew to prepare not only immigrants with survival English but also foreign students coming to the U.S. to learn English. New York Language Center has 5 locations in New York City.
