I’ve been having a problem with my 97 Jeep Cherokee Sport overheating when the air conditioner is on and the car is idling. I spoke with several mechanics who had no theories and then I called Kirk at K&W who asked me if the radiator fan was working? Truth is, I didn’t know. So I drove out there early in the morning where Kirk met me with a smile. He zeroed right in on the fan and found the motor dead. He made a few calls, found a new one from a supplier other than Chrysler which saved me some money and installed it for $ 30. labor.
On the drive home the car was running noticeably cooler and didn’t overheat in the nearly 90 degree weather.
