horrible customer service, the driver was rude and extremely unprofessional. would NOT ever use them

I got to them through Geico Insurance. When my car broke a belt pulley 10 miles from home I had to have my car towed to the dealer.
Called Geico and they called InterCounty to tow my car. Told me that the towing company will come within 30 – 90 minutes. What??? Seriously??? OK, I guess I had no choice. So I asked for their phone number just in case. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes, I called them to see when they’re coming. The guy on the phone sounded like answering the phone was the most annoying task of the month. I asked when are they coming, and he said that they will come within an hour. WHAT??? An hour and 15 minutes ago you told Geico 30 – 90 minutes. «we just got this 20 minutes ago» he said, (lies) and kept postponing («one more hour»). That didn’t sound good. This guy sounded like he hates customers. Reading the reviews here validated my suspicion. Heck, I don’t know when they’re coming and I don’t even want them to touch my car now. My intuition was screaming at me.
I called Geico again and requested for a different towing company, telling them that I wouldn’t trust those other guys, and they have horrible reviews on Unilocal.Told Geico that he said that he received my Geico tow request 20 minutes ago and I should wait one more hour. The Geico woman paused for a few seconds, checking. «Nope. They got this and hour and 20 minutes ago. OK. Let me cancel this and get you a different company.»
Good riddance and I saved myself with the skin of my teeth. Phew! That was close. Well, not really close, it was an hour away at best…
The Geico woman called me a different towing company. Response Towing, who came in 15 minutes. And you can read all about it in my 5 star review for Response Towing.

Great on-​road assistance! My car battery died so I called them up and had a mechanic arrive to help within 40 minutes. The woman on the phone was okay and even gave me the option of paying with credit card.
Once the mechanic arrived, he not only fixed the problem, but got it done within 3 minutes.
Would recommend to anyone who has some car trouble!

Zero stars! Horrible, horrible, horrible! I have road side assistance from Geico and I needed to get my car towed to a tire place since I had a flat. I called Geico and they used this company. The driver was a young ghetto man that yelled at me the second I saw him «you know how long I’ve been waiting?». Uhh a few minutes tops since I just got the call from the company telling me the driver was there. Then he proceeds to put the car on the truck but doesn’t chain it up. I asked and he said that if the car fell, he would be doing me a favor. umm thx?! Then I tell him the tireshop I want to go to but he tells me there is one up the block and I should go there, I insist that I want to go to the other, he gives attitude and says «your going to make go all the way over there?». He finally accepts and start heading there, on the way he ran red lights and passed cars as if he was driving a sports car instead of a tow truck. When we finally got to the tireshop, driver decided that the best way to get my car in the shop was to drive it on the flat and eventually he drove it on the rim. As I yelled he told me to calm down, got off the car and just left. The guy changing my tire looked at the rim and says «i might need to chnage the rim too because it looks like this guy just bent it for you»… yeah never again. Oh amd the best part is that I called to complain and when I was in the middle of my story they just hung up on me.

This is as shady and horrid business. My boyfriend got into a minor accident on July 4^th, got quoted 8 to 10 business days for the repairs (sadly he signed a contract to have them fix his car, not knowing better). The Progressive inspector came to verify the situation on the 10^th so they were not allowed to work on it till then — fine. They said that it would be ready on the the weekend of the 19^th, so he comes up from Lancaster, PA to pick up his car, but his car is not ready. Not once did they call him to update him on the situation. It is now almost 20 days since the accident and my boyfriend is forced to pay out of pocket for an addition $ 300+ for his rental because it’s taking them so long. When he asked to speak to a manager they gave him the run around and then pretty much said that it was not their fault for the wait.
Given that parts may take time to come in, it’s common business practice to LET your customers know when there is a delay.
When he gets his car back I told him to take it to Toyota to make sure that all his original parts are there and have not been switched out (thank you Unilocal). He has contacted his insurance company to make a complaint and I have also advised him to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as consider taking it to small claims court.

Got into a minor accident and I called geico for a tow truck. Intercounty came to my rescue and their services were great. They helped open the other party’s locked door, towed my car to their auto body shop, and even got me a car rental and took me to the car rental spot. Took off one star because they initially said I could pick up the car back at the same location once it was fixed, but turned out I had to pick it up in Jamaica.
