Love coming to many events that they have here. The place is amazing and the staff normally are as well, and the food, jams and candies they sell are great

This is a review for a birthday party we had at the farm for my son’s 4^th birthday. It was fantastic! The farm took care of everything and herded the kids around to all activities, we just brought cake and goodie bags. The kids and parents had a wonderful time, packed full of activities… Awesome petting zoo, hay rides, carousel, jumping pillows, train rides and two nice playgrounds to use in between activities. The home made pizza was delicious. For the price of a typical birthday party at a chain pizza place, we instead had a unique wonderful outdoor party chock full of activities to tire the kids out. We also added on the pony rides, which were a big hit too. We received lots of compliments from the other parents, and will be back soon!

I wanted to like Schnepf Farms, but when you force your patrons to pay admissions to a festival if all they want to do is buy a pumpkin, that’s a bit disappointing. I didn’t want to attend the festival mainly due to my budget and I thought buying a pumpkin from a farm as opposed to a grocery store would be cool and supporting local business. Guess I was wrong.

My son and his wife’s wedding ceremony and reception (all outdoors) was handled with detail, execution and professionalism on 12÷5÷15. Beautiful venue for an outdoor rustic wedding. Thank you for a wonderful day!

American Heritage Festival held at this venue was a dud. We attended on Saturday, November 21, 2015. We knew the admission fees prior to attending BUT you would think an American Heritage Festival would give US Veterans a discount! Also, no discounts for seniors or for children over age 3, plus they charged a fee of $.50 per person when one uses a credit/​debit card FOR ONE TRANSACTION!!.
When we arrived and entered the «festival» there was nothing very festive about it. A few vendors for some «heritage» items and food. The 3 food/​drink vendors were spread so far from the trinket vendors to a point of ridiculousness!
Also, the mini battle reenactments were too far apart in time so kids (and parents) were getting cranky and bored.
Never again will we attend here at Schnepf Farms.

Such a lovely peaceful place for us all to enjoy. Leave your cell phones in your pockets and just enjoy the moments folks. It was great wondering around. I haven’t been here in some time so I forget where things were. I did found myself wishing I had a map of sorts. Signage is minimal.
If I could change 1 thing about this experience it would be SIGNAGE. In this day of wooden chalkboard sign craze it would fit in perfectly. Get some art students to hook you up. (restrooms where easily located)
Old beach cruiser bikes you can rent by the hour.
Rides for small children and a few for the big ones.
Many benches and seating for reflection.
Do you offer private picnic areas? I didn’t know you could have birthday party or family gatherings.
The restaurant was confusing… do I sit? where do I order? Is there a menu? So we just purchased a mini pumpkin loaf and drinks and sat on the porch a people watched. The pumpkin loaf was burnt around the edges on the outside. It was good we had no problem devouring it.
It’s a farm. Bring your outdoor bug spray!
Pick your own organic vegetables or buy already picked for you and the sunflowers were lovely. Honor system. (I remember that)
I went to explore the Dirt Road Flea Market and found so much more.
I gave Schnepf Farms 5 stars because it is so unique and I don’t want to see another housing developer swallow this beautiful place in time. Thank you Schnepf Farms

My wife and kids love going at Halloween time. It is a very unique place when looking for something different than the city life. If I was rating the «unique factor they would get 5 stars». The reality is that if you go on a Saturday night be prepared for long lines, slow service, and a lot of dust. We paid $ 15 a ticket at Fry’s, then $ 4 per ticket to ride train which we waited in line for 2 hours (no joke!), food was more $$ and long lines, and the rides for my kids which meant more lines. The kicker is that they could add more staff, spray the dirt for dust control, add some permanent bathrooms, and add some more activities and this place would be great. My perception is that the demand is high, the supply of unique venues is low, and so they leave things as they are. It’s too bad…

My husband and I took our 11 month old son here on Friday to pick out some pumpkins for his first Halloween.
We purchased discount tickets at Frys for $ 15 each, plus our son got in free.
Finding the entrance to this place is a little more than difficult, there is very little signage and we had a hard time finding directions on our smartphones.
We got there and went in, we spent the extra $ 3 per person on the train ride, which our son seemed to enjoy. Then we took our son to the little play area where daddy helped him ride around on the little kids bike. we also took him on the carousel.
We grabbed some lunch — not the best food, but not too bad for a farm scene. Expect to pay some cash, as with any place that doesn’t allow outside food.
Then we went to a little bakery/​bar and checked out the scenery. Our son fell asleep, so my husband and I grabbed a snow cone and played some mini golf, which was a blast.
After our son woke up, we went to the petting zoo, rode a couple of rides, rode the hayride, went through the 10 acre corn maze and picked out three pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.
We plan to return every year to take our son to pick out pumpkins and for a day of fun. We are expecting another child and are exciting to share this experience with both of our kids.
I recommend this for a nice family friendly day, just have realistic expectations for pricing and remember it’s a farm. it’s hot in Arizona. and dusty.

You charge adults 18 dollars with no kids? You need to rethink that since most of the activites center around childrens rides etc… We just wanted to check out your store. You lost some business today.

We came here on a Saturday night. I bought my tickets online prior to coming to the farm. It was $ 33 for two tickets plus a convenience fee of $ 5.91, which is total of $ 71.91. On the website they stated that the online price was $ 2 cheaper than buying it at the gate, plus we thought there would be no line and could walk right into the park with the e-​tickets. When we got here we were told by the ticket collectors that we had to go wait in the ticket line to claim the e-​tickets. We waited in line for 20 minutes. Where is the convenience in that?!? After we got the tickets we went and met up with our friends. We found out there that they bought two tickets at the gate for $ 66! Seriously where is the discount for online pricing? This is a freaking joke. Definitely not coming here again and I would like my money back for being lied to.

This little gem is tucked away in Queen Creek, and its full of surprises like a gorgeous U-​Pick garden.
As far as the baked goods go, I really enjoy the peanut butter cookies. They are huge and pretty chewy which is my fav! Ive also heard great things about the Caramel Apple pies!
Visting Schnepf Farms is something you want to experience with the whole family. Especially during the Peach Festival and Pumpkin & Chili Festival, you’ll all have a blast.

I will start by saying that I have been here multiple times. There are some good things but there are definitely things they need to work on. We attended the pumpkin and chili party on 10÷10÷15. We got in line for the chili and it was terribly slow. The people were doing the best they could but having only two people taking money was really slow. Secondly, porta-​potties? The restrooms are very limited and in some locations you only have porta-​potties available. Schnepf is making some serious cash and it is a permanent place. They have done very little to improve anything that I can tell and they keep pulling in the cash. Lighting… At night, it is very dark in some areas. We also ride the pedal powered cars. There were a total of four vehicles in operation and a graveyard of about 8 others in disrepair. Really speaks to the whole operation. Come on Schnepf, time to step up your game!

Went to the pumpkin patch today with my husband and two kids (2 yrs. old and 7 month old). We all had a blast. There is plenty to do and see. It was a little hot out today but we managed to enjoy ourselves. My two yrs. old got to ride a pony, pet some goats, enjoyed seeing the farm animals, bounced, went on a carousel, and of course picked out her own pumpkin. We will definitely be back!

Went last Friday night… had a blast! Took 2 kids 11 and 12, they enjoyed every second of the Fall Festival. They rode the rides, watched pig racing, BMX stunts, bluegrass band, outdoor eating, fireworks & a petting zoo… and then we did Outbreak. Outbreak was awsome… we got to paintball shoot at zombies! Best time ever and it felt nice to ‘get away’. We feel it was very fairly priced altho ours got a bit expensive due to Outbreak but worth it. Not to mention glowing Cotton Candy… FUN! :)

Corn Maze was amazing, the food and service were excellent, every employee had a smile and great attitude, but our favorite was the new Zombie Outbreak! We had a fabulous time shooting paintballs at zombies and the staff was tremendous fun in their roles!

I had fun here. They did not have much going on. Their U Pick was not open. But we had fun walking around. They have a country store full of pies. They have REALLY SMELLY PIGS. Bring your clothespin for your nose. OMG. But they’re cute. Also peacocks and some goats they call a petting zoo. I think with little kids you could make a day of it instead of an hour…

I felt like the employees were friends by the end of my visit. My child had so much fun. We first shot pretend guns at a shooting gallery where an animatronic skunk sprays a mist of water at you. It was hilarious. Then we checked out the peacocks, pigs, goats, a bull, a donkey, and cows. There’s amusement park rides and a train that takes you throughout the farm. Worth taking a visit and worth many more return visits to come. Can’t wait for the pumpkin and chili festival!

Ample parking, nice environment, and delicious (yet small) peaches. For $ 2.20 a pound, it’s a little expensive, but they’re organic, so maybe its a good deal?
The reason I don’t give 5 stars is because there was sooooo many bugs. I got bitten by mosquitos all over! So, be warned and wear OFF! spray. I know they can’t help it since it’s a farm, but it was very annoying and led to a very itchy week following the trip, so I’ll probably stick to buying peaches from Costco, but fun nonetheless!

I’ve gone ?? years (I’ve now reached the point where revealing my age is a bad, bad thing) thinking I didn’t like peach pie. I never had a Schnepf Farms peach pie. You gotta be kidding me! That pie was stupid good! Ranks with the best pie I ever had. It might be THE best pie I ever had. Perfect filling without being loaded up with cinnamon, allowing those tree-​ripe peaches to be the star. Perfectly flaky, buttery crust.
As for the farm, we originally were going to go the first day of the peach festival, but after seeing some comments on Facebook about the crowds, we opted to head out early the next day. And thankfully we did get there early, because by the time we left an hour or so later, it was already packed. But we were able to make a quick walk to the orchards and pick some oh so sweet and juicy peaches. I have been forever ruined by a grocery store peach. You know, the kind where for every 6 peaches you buy, one is great, one is edible, and four are throw-​aways. I will now buy peaches only in the month of May directly from the tree!
We were also able to buy that pie and some already picked peaches of a different variety outside the store and sample some of the peach products. We opted out of the pancake breakfast and the cinnamon rolls due to the lines, but that was okay with us.
There was a lot of griping about the crowds and Schnepf’s ability to handle it, but I don’t know that any small business could have done so. I do think a few improvements could be made, however. First on the list, upon arriving we thought the big line at the entrance was to get in, but it turned out to be the breakfast line. Better signage or moving the breakfast line would help. Also, with the breakfast line winding out the entrance, it was difficult to get in or out of the festival as the area just wasn’t large enough. A separate exit would make a world of difference in the congestion there. And second, although you could buy pies outside the store, I believe the peach cinnamon rolls were only in the bakery which may have been the reason for the ridiculous line to get in there. Having those bad boys available outside as well would be nice. The rest of the problems just came with the crowds. And we should all remember, this is a family farm first. Even Disneyland doesn’t always excel at crowd control.
Next time, we’ll go before or after festival days to get our peaches and baked goodies. Thank you Schnepf Farms!

Had a wonderful time at the farm this morning (Thursday around 10 AM). UPick veggie garden was open, breakfast being served and the country store was open as well. The store consists of homemade salsas, jams, salad dressings, candies, fudges, baked items, etc. We love the balsamic blue cheese dressing and look forward to trying the slices of cherry and peach pie we brought home. The fresh peaches were ripe, inexpensive and fabulous.
We will always try to come on non-​festival days, as it was not busy at all, we had front row parking, no wait and the service fantastic. The train was not supposed to run until 11:30 but the wonderful cashier in the country store went out of her way to find a conductor. Even though it was a spontaneous ride, the conductor was so incredibly sweet to our little guy. There is stroller parking and little cubbies to leave goodies if you ride. If you don’t have time to pick veggies, they have a veggie stand in front of the store. What a lovely family farm that clearly has pride of ownership and in the customer experience. The owners should be proud of the farm, but more importantly, the customer service provided by their staff.
