History

Established in 1982.

In 1974, Brett began in construction working for a stonemason. As work decreased, he left and pursued employment with a construction business building new homes in the Doylestown area. At this time he began taking carpentry courses at night school that only enhanced his natural God-​given abilities. The opportunity arose to work in the union with a large contracting firm based in Philadelphia. After 2 yrs, and for half the salary, he left for a small remodeling company in Bucks County.

His desire was to work in the residential field, enjoying his work versus a large paycheck. Brett began to have the strong desire to be in business for himself knowing he would be fully responsible for the outcome of all projects. He began to pray for this opportunity. In 1982 his prayer was answered. He determined to establish his business on God-​honoring principles, using Luke 6:47−49 as the cornerstone. God made it very clear that He would provide and we have consistently seen God’s faithfulness.

Business Owner

Brett is the president and founder of Brett King Builder-​Contractor, Inc. Having a wealth of natural God-​given abilities, Brett felt lead to begin his remodeling business in 1982. Acquiring repeated local and national recognition, Brett’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, integrity, and exceeding customer’s expectations continues to drive the company. Brett’s business passion is taking people’s problems away while working out in the field he loves. He is very active in his church (Living Hope Community Church) where he serves as an elder. Brett also enjoys golf and spending time with his family. His newest hobby is taking rides with his wife Kim on their tandem bike. They reside in a home they designed and built outside of Quakertown where they happily celebrate 30 years of married life. Their two grown children are Nathan, married, and Heather, a student at Philadelphia Biblical University.
