Had a coupon, so thought we’d give it a try. I had the brisket sandwich, and it was flavorless and almost completely fat. Fed ¾ of it to the dogs. Had a side of mac and cheese, and couldn’t finish that either — worse than the stuff in the blue box! Husband had the pulled pork, and also complained that it didn’t have any flavor. He had a side of potato salad, and it was mostly chopped up veggies with very little potatoes or flavor. Was not worth the money even with the 20% off coupon.

Plain and simple. Wasted $ 43– tonight on take out. Brisket sandwiches lacked flavor and were horrible. Fed them to the dogs. Kids Texas toast was basic grilled cheese. Macaroni and cheese was cold. Had no taste whatsoever. Guess pouring milk on pasta is considered Mac and cheese. Total disappointment.

Had the smoked brisket and ribs last night with my family! Soooo good! They also have deli meats and pizza now. My son got and Italian sandwich on a Kaiser and loved it. I was able to get a pound of provolone for sandwiches tomorrow!

Went here a few weeks ago for a random afternoon lunch. My husband and I split the brisket, pulled pork, and chicken platter and it was too much food for both of us to eat! Side portions are a little small — although it looks like from pictures others had larger versions so maybe they’ve changed the portions since then. Brisket was awesome, thick, and fell apart in your mouth. Their sauces were delicious. Décor inside could use some help, it’s a little«sterile» if that makes any sense, but it’s also a restaurant born from a food truck so, the experience is in the meal :)

We have gone a few times. Service has been good. I have gotten the po’boy fries and the hotdog topped with brisket, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The meat was very tender, but bland. I liked the brown bbq sauce so I added plenty to my fries and hotdog. The Mac and cheese were also bland. The baked beans had so much black pepper it seemed like someone accidentally dropped a whole container into the vat of beans. Prices seemed very high for what you got.

I love coming here for breakfast on the weekend. The pulled pork breakfast sandwich was delicious and the pork was cooked perfectly. Service was fast and friendly. Previous restaurants in the same location did not seem to get much business, but I hope this place does well and sticks around.

We were excited to have a barbecue place so near to us. What a dissapointment. We ordered the backyard platter one night and opened to find it all swimming in grease! I understand that this is not a health food restaurant but WHOA! The brisket, the pork, and the kielbasa all had decent flavor but each piece was just sitting in a pool of fat. It coated the tongue and made myself and my fiancé stop eating after a few bites. There is a much better way to rest, plate, and present meat once it is done cooking. They need to learn it here.

Meh. Brisket needed more flavor. Had to put copious amounts of sauce on it. I will say though, that it was tender and juicy. The dogs were good. Some interesting combos. Service slow, but only one person on. Not her fault. Q-town has a paucity of independent places to eat so I will probably try again.

You don’t know how excited I was when I heard that we were getting a BBQ place in town. I was very dissapponted in the quality of the food. I got the backyard special(brisket, kielbasa, pulled pork) and none of the meat had any taste. I literally had to pour a ton of BBQ sauce on the meat(after I had to go back because they forgot to include sauce in my takeout order). Meat was not low quality and sides were worse. Mac and cheese was all clumpy and not cheesy at all. We will not be back.

Everything was pretty flavorless, I’m afraid. We ordered the backyard platter, the ribs, and the Mac and cheese bowl — none of it was particularly good. The meat had no smoke flavor, and some of it was tender and some of it was chewy. The ribs were tender, but smelled of ammonia and again had no seasoning. Everything needed liberal doses of BBQ sauce — which, admittedly, was okay.(Actually, some of the sides were okay: fries, potato salad, fried corn, beans.) Whole thing was forty-plus bucks. Won’t be going back, given the experience for the money spent.

We got takeout from here Monday night. We ordered a few of the Backyard Platters and a hot dog. Service was good, and the food was excellent. I liked having two kinds of BBQ sauce to put on the meats. My son loved the loaded bacon and cheese hot dog. I would post pictures, but there’s nothing left but wrappers… We’ll be back to try the ribs! [Edit: I wanted to comment on the other negative reviews — yes, the meat isn’t overly seasoned. But that allows everyone to enjoy it the way they want. They give you plenty of BBQ sauce to add. I don’t like a ton of BBQ sauce dumped all over my pulled pork, so I thought it was perfect]

Excited to try and went during their second week. On a good note, the service was very good and the place was clean. Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. I tried the brisket sandwich. First, for the price, maybe include a side or raise it a buck and call it a «platter». with two sides. As for the sandwich, the only part of the sandwich that had ANY flavor was the BBQ sauce. The meat looked and tasted like it was boiled and had a lot of fat. Sorry, but I won’t be going back.

Stopped by this delightful new restaurant just after a physical therapy appointment. I had a headache and knew I needed something to eat. It was 10 a.m. and I had a brisket egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll. Boy did that hit the spot and it was delicious. What a surprise to find out they’ve only been here a week and I’m glad I found this gem in Quakertown.
