Vassey Nursery

My husband and I recently took my Mom and sister to Vassey’s. Their selection is pretty big and the prices are competitive too.
They had a lot of trees in various sizes and it was very easy to walk around and check out the information on the plants. They have a soothing waterfall and it’s only a mile away from our home!
Things were easily labeled and you can easily spend a lot of time looking at all of their plants. It had a nice flow to it and it is in a quiet part of town.
I think that the location doesn’t help a lot because it’s on a dead end road but if you’re in town, you should check it out. It’s a very good size nursery and it usually not super busy so it’s easy to get help.
I put down three $ because some of the items can be pricey but I still think it’s competitive to other nurseries. My Mom and sister are from Seattle and they were really impressed with the nursery in Puyallup.
Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Each time we’ve gone, James has been really nice and consistently friendly. There was another person this last time who was a bit snobbish with her knowledge so I didn’t really care for her. But I’m sure that she has a lot of knowledge regarding the products she sells. It was her way of sharing that knowledge which rubbed me the wrong way.
I’ll go back though because of the selection, competitive pricing and their overall excellent service!
