Paul Davis Restoration

We had a fire in our home, this all happened after my grandmother passed and then my great aunt passed. Our insurance company sent PDR out to collect our things, after everything was down with them packing thing up we go in to look, and we just had some of our things thrown into the bathroom like it was garbage when it was actually expensive cologne and perfume along with some other things. That was just the start of everything. Everytime we tried to call them they had a different excuse why they haven’t started cleaning our stuff yet. The main reason we wanted to know about our stuff was because I had school books that I needed to return. They said okay, we’ll call you back, never got a call back. We had to keep trying to call them. Finally they said Ok you can make a list and come get whatevers on your list. We go up there and they just walk us through what they did then all of a sudden after driving all the way up there they said «Oh, all the stuff is packed so we can’t get what’s on your list or anything else.» basically we went up there just for them to show us around. Then the lady says, they gave us a timeline of 9 months so we use that timeline, we don’t get it done sooner and try not to get it done later.” Then they call us saying the electronics went bad so then we told them to just bring it to us so WE can see if they really went bad. The delivery date was set for today between 9:30 — 12:30, we call them this morning and they have the delivery address set for the house that caught on fire and isn’t liveable, we give them the address where we’re at ONCE AGAIN but within 5 minutes the delivery guy was here and nice. He talked to us and let us know what was going on with everything and let us know their policy for things that’s going on and let us know what their bosses can do and took our phone number personally and is going to have them call us to try and resolve everything.

So far so good! we had a water leak and my insurance company sent PDR out for the water mitigation portion of our claim. They arrived quickly, were thorough and assessed all of the damage. They even came by on the weekends to do some work, with my tenants permission of course, in order to speed the job along. The supervisor who came out was informative and made sure things were being done right to limit any inconvenience. Their original quote was 5 days and they hit that mark exactly. My damages were extensive, its going to require new floors and counter tops. My experience with PDR during the water mitigation was so good that I am going to work with them on the contracting /​restoration work as well. Great job all, look forward to dealing with you more!

After the project manager came out we never heard from them again. I called their answering service on a Fiday and was met with an EXTREMELY rude operator. I then emailed the project manager that evening to schedule a time for the work to be done, no response. On the following Wednesday I called and left a message with their receptionist… it’s now 3 weeks later and no one has responded to us. And to clarify, we have been very professional in our dealings with them, and were not rude or short during our exchange (even with rude operator 16 who refused to give me her name).
They seemed friendly and professional during their consult, but follow up was very poor. I do not recommend this company if you’re on a time crunch or going through your insurance company.
