Foss Audio and Tint

Don’t believe everything you read because some people just can’t be satisfied.
CJ was very helpful, installation was quick & then he showed me some cool features before I left. Even programmed the time/​date.
I will return soon for another stereo installation for my other car.

You will find good honest work here, in my scenario I was having a new stereo installed in order to increase my wattage, I was informed however by the shop that it wouldn’t actually make any difference at all. So I was able to return a $ 250 deck, the shop could have installed it simple to get the install money but we’re honest and called me to let me know it wouldn’t improve the sound. Would recommend this place for your audio needs.

So I thought I’d stop by this place today. I have a 65 mustang that needed her tunes fixed and the guy that helped me was great! He fixed a loose wire and in less than 15 mins I was ready to go. I’m a happy gal! I highly recommend this place!

Great Big shout out Foss Car Audio in Puyallup. I had a remote start installed by them over a year ago and it started acting up a couple of months back. I finally got around to taking the car back and I was helped by Rick. Rick is the man! He and Foss went beyond what I would have expected and diagnosed and fixed the problem… FAST! And at no additional charge in spite of this install being over a year old. The industry should hire more Ricks! Until they do, I’ll be staying with Foss. Thanks!

If i could give more stars i would. Cj and sean are the best in the business. I have a 98 grand cherokee and wanted a double din head unit. Every place i went to said it could not be done. Sean was all over this here. He said i will make it look like it came stock. These guys are a true custom audio shop. I even had them replace my existing remote start with a great compustar one. I will never go anywhere else for my car audio and video needs. The installation was clean and i cant tell if anything was ever done. These guys take pride in every vehicle that comes through the doors. Oh they also have a very easy finance program. Thanks Foss audio and thanks Cj and sean.

A little over a year ago I had an ignition interlock device installed in my car at another business on South Hill. It took two and a half hours, I was irritated, but there was no where else to go close to home. I took it in for the first recalibration and was forced to sit in a disgusting building for 45 minutes with someone who would not stop talking to me while I was trying to get some work done. Then I received a letter in the mail letting me know that Foss Audio was now available for a recalibration. I was so happy, even closer to home! The guys were so friendly, fast and efficient. They had me out of there in 20 minutes flat. I went to all of the rest of me calibrations there. Today I had my device removed, I was told that it would take an hour and I let them know I was in a bit of a hurry, again C.J. Had me out in 20 minutes. I am now going back to get a automatic start and navigation system put into my new vehicle. With the speed of service, friendly and professional service at a decent rate how could I go wrong. I even bought a huge flat screen tv there one day for my home at an incredible price. Thank you guys, see you soon.

I had remote start put on my car last week and everything went smoothly. Was charged what CJ quoted me over the phone and everything works great. No more being cold in the car!

Scratch the previous review. This shop did a terrible job installing my speakers and ended up costing me a lot of money to get my system in proper working order. I had them install an amplifier and 4 speakers, nothing complicated. I was never impressed with the sound quality and couldn’t figure out why my system sounded like crap. I spent about $ 1,500 on the equipment and it sounded worse than stock. They kept telling me it was because i didn’t have a sub. I could not listen to the system at a loud volume for more than a couple of minutes without my ears hurting. I thought maybe it was the speakers themselves that didn’t sound good (Hertz), so I replaced them with another brand and discovered that the front speakers’ positive and negative connections were reversed and the speakers were out of phase. In addition, some of the screws used to secure the front and rear speakers were screwed into nothing. I will never do business with this place again. I would expect this sort of thing at a Bestbuy or Cartoys, but not at a business dedicated to car audio.

I was vey disappointed with the service. My wife grabbed water as soon as we walked in, which contained a spider. Ok its not a restaurant, understandable. We were being helped by a younger gentleman with glasses, he seemed helpful until his coworker showed up. He proceeded to talk over us and have the other person look up things for him and clients who called in. Which again would be ok if they didnt overlook the we clients that were in store, us. This other guy basically raised the prices we were quoted over and over until we were told $ 60 more than what we started off with upon our arrival. Seemed like this other guy didnt want us there. Thats fine but if there like this with initial service what if you have to go back? I do not recommend coming here. There are plenty of places who will tint your windows for cheaper and who are nicer. $ 300 for window tint $ 218 here? Ill pay that, but be nice to be if you want my money. Ill go somewhere else, I’d suggest you do to.
