Our mission is to listen first, then deliver individualized, uncompromised care. We are accepting new patients and are a preferred provider with most of the major insurance carriers. No insurance? We have specials just for you, including membership plans to fit any budget and dental need. Our office welcomes children, families, and the elderly. We offer general dentistry including: composite (tooth-​colored) fillings, periodontal services, root canals, extractions, crowns, veneers, dentures, partials and implant restorations. Dr. Johns is licensed with the state of Washington for Moderate Sedation and offers conscious sedation for patients who have dental fears, phobias or who want to relax while undergoing treatment. Dr. Johns has completed advanced training at the prestigious Spear Institute/​Scottsdale Center and uses the newest technology and skills in treating patients who need full mouth reconstruction and dental cosmetics.

History

Established in 2008.

Dr. David Johns is a northwest native and was raised in Yelm. He received his dental degree from Case Western Reserve in 2002. Following his graduation, he moved back to western Washington and purchased an established dental practice from a retiring dentist in Auburn. He successfully owned and operated Northwest Dental Cosmetics from 2002 – 2009. However, he was invited to establish an office in the new addition, building 3, of the Sunrise Medical Campus on South Hill. At that time he decided to sell his Auburn practice, build his dream office and begin his first start-​up practice. Johns Family Dentistry at the Sunrise Medical Campus opened in October of 2008. Dr. Johns sold the Auburn practice in July 2009 and has worked on South Hill exclusively since. Dr. Johns is also a member of the prestigious Spear Institute in Scottsdale, AZ where he studies and mentors several times each year.

Dr. David Johns resides in Puyallup. He is happily married and has 5 children. During his off time he is an avid reader, an excellent pianist, outdoor enthusiast, pilot and devote Christian. (He also is huge 80’s music fan!)
