Big Daddy’s Doggie Daycare & Wash

We tried to take our dog in for a self wash, and checked online on what their hours are for today. Open until 6:30. We showed up at 5:45pm, and apparently they close the dog wash at 5:30pm! Well, thanks for mentioning that ANYWHERE on your website!

This is the best place ever! I take my dog Colt here all the time. i love that they have to pass a TEMPERMENT EVALUATION (SP?) AS WELL… also i highly doubt that they would allow anyone to drop off there dog and then take them to petco… because petco doesnt not have a boarding facility. but yeah these guys love dogs and that is just fact.

Over due review. they said our dog was aggressive towards other dogs. we had already dropped him off& was on the road. our dog wouldn’t hurt a fly. He lives with a cat and a small dog. It was very stressful and had us worried. We had to cut our vacation short because they dropped our dog off at petco!

I come here occasionally to wash my dog and the experience is always great! Friendly service with affordable prices!

Took my Siberian Husky ‘Harley’ there for the first time yesterday… And wow! Great place, super friendly and the owner was so helpful and kind. You can tell they love animals. I loved the big sink and all the amenities to use for your dog. The owner even saw that my husky had a thick coat of hair and offered a better nozzle to spray him down with. Love this place and the price! $ 15 is super cheap when they do all the clean up! I even was provided an apron so I wouldn’t get wet. Will go back again, made a fun experience for me and my pup.

Big Daddy’s is incredible! I will never take my pup to another daycare. Rich and Nikki are wonderful, and it is very apparent they give your dog the best care possible.
I was drawn to Big Daddy’s because of the fact that they are a kennel-​free daycare, but knew it was the place for us as soon as I stopped by to meet Rich. I set my pup up for her 4 hour interview as soon as she received her last round of puppy shots. When I came by to drop her off for her interview, Rich asked me a few basic and important questions about her temperament, then slipped a lead on her and took her for a quick solo walk before introducing her to the pack. I felt really good about leaving her in such caring hands.
My girl now visits Big Daddy’s twice a week for half-​day play sessions, and it really wears her out (not easy for a 5 month old Australian shepherd mix!).
I consider the prices extremely reasonable for the amount of care and attention each dog receives, and you do save some money if you purchase the larger packages. Big Daddy’s is hands down one of the best decisions you can make for your pup.

So we took our girl Kona there first time to «snip its» for grooming. She came back clean, nicely clipped, and super happy. Like she just had a spa day. It’s located right below Big Daddy’s called Snip It. The young man Tyler was great, and my old girl loved it!

My Oliver loves the place. He recognizes the bright yellow building. He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. This is a good thing. He has lymphoma now so we just stop by for a quick visit. We are always greeted with a warm welcome. I would recommend giving them a try. I glad I did.

I loved taking my Tucker to Big Daddy’s doggie daycare. Tucker began going as a small puppy, which was great for his socialization. Rich worked patiently with Tucker through the puppy stages and into adulthood. Unfortunately, due to moving we no longer are able to utilize doggie daycare, as we once did; but I highly recommend this daycare for your furry friends. We love our dogs, as valued members of our family, and Rich is no different with his clients. Great place, and so worth the price.

This is my dogs favorite place to play. We have a small Frenchie that just loves her days at Big Daddy’s. She comes home totaly exhausted and that makes me happy. I feel bad when I am at work all day and she stays home alone and bored.
Rich and Nicki take great care of the dogs and are always in total control. I never worry when I drop off little Penny. I know she is having the time of her life. We even boarded her for a week with Rich, Penny loved it! No worries for us and a happy dog is a win, win.

We made reservations a few days before our arrival to the Washington State Fair! When we got there, Rich was waiting for us, he had already contacted our Vet for the information that he needed for her stay! Our dog seemed a little apprehensive at first because the other dogs were barking to let Rich know that someone was pulling into the driveway! But that must have been a short lived apprehension, because by the time we got back to pick her up, her tongue was hanging out a foot below her mouth, she had a huge smile on her face, and actually, looked a little disappointed that it was time to leave! Boy, she slept that night at our Motel and never once got up to investigate sounds outside of our door! The next day as we were leaving Puyallup, about a block before Big Daddy’s, she got so anxious and excited, and as we drove by she acted like we had lost our minds for not stopping! OH, SHE HAD A GOOD TIME, a really good time! Thanks Rich, for the peace of mind you gave us to enjoy our day at the Fair! See you next year!

Our family loves Big Daddys! We have been taking Charlie there for a year and a half. Charlie loves going there and gets excellent care! Rich and Nikki are excellent and treat all the dogs like their own. Charlie gets to play with other dogs and comes home tired. I love that he is playing all day instead of in a kennel. We highly recommend big daddys!

I used this day care for my three dogs one time and they loved it – HOWEVER — a fecal test from your veterinarian is required every 6 months and I simply can’t afford to pay $ 80 for three fecal tests and then pay for day care just to use this facility a few times a year.
Even though my dogs are on Revolution, a fecal would still be required.
Too bad.
Big Daddy’s will NOT be getting my business.

My husband and I absolutley LOVE Big Daddy’s, not to mention our sweet pup, Baron too! Rich is so warm and welcoming the minute you enter that you are immediatley put at ease. He really takes his time to make sure your pet’s temperment and personality gels with the pack to ensure everyone’s safety. My dog cannot wait to jump out of the car and go spend his day playing with his friends! Absolutley everything about Big Daddy’s is amazing and is unlike any pet care we have experienced! Needless to say, we will never take our Baron anywhere else!

I love taking my dog to Big Daddy’s Doggie Daycare. When she spends the day there, she gets to play with other dogs, not be stuck in a kennel, and get tons of attention and exercise. Because my dog is a senior, they also have places were she can nap and relax when the younger or bigger dogs get to be too much. She’s a dachshund, so there are lots of bigger dogs. The staff there are always so sweet and funny — when I pick her up, they tell me how her day was and it’s obvious that she adores them. It’s hard to even get her to leave at the end of the day. Obviously the people at Big Daddy’s give the dogs that they watch a lot of time and attention. They even took the time to trim my dog’s nails, without charging me, because they were looking a little long! When she comes home, she sleeps pretty hard, but she also seems a lot more at ease… I’m not sure how to describe my dog looking more relaxed, since she’s pretty relaxed to begin with, but it’s true. I think she’s also lost some weight since starting daycare.
The building also has four self-​wash stations where you can groom dogs of any size. I haven’t used these yet, but lots of people are using them when I’ve picked up my dog.
If I have any complaint about Big Daddy’s, it’s that it’s a bit expensive. It’s $ 29 for a full day of daycare, and it means I have to really limit when I can take my dog. However, this could be the average price for this level of care… it’s definitely a much higher quality than day-​boarding her at the vet’s office, where she spends her time in a kennel and gets a few walks. If you can afford it or can purchase one of the Playday Passes, I highly recommend it… your dog will have so much fun!
