TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED.
I thought I had read the reviews on B&B Auto Sales before we drove 3 hours to purchase a truck, but apparently I did not or we would likely not have purchased from them. We too have unfortunately come to realize that these people are liars and hope to spare anyone else from dealing with them. We purchased a truck from them in November. First off, we noticed that the brakes were a little rough on our test drive but the sales guy assured us that the brake pads were likely just dirty because the vehicle had been sitting for a while and that they would «burn off» and be fine. Guess what? Nope, the rotors were warped. They would have had to know this. So much for getting a full inspection in their shop. However, we knew we were buying a used vehicle, so when we ended up having to put brakes on it after having it for only a couple weeks, it was a little perturbing but ok… it’s used and the guy’s a salesman. No real surprise there, sadly.
We were told at the time of purchase that the «documentation fees» in our loan were for licensing and titling that they would be sending to our local DMV in Oregon so we could get Oregon plates. They said they could put those fees in the loan, making it sound like «ohh we’re helping you out here», but they couldn’t put the trip permit so we would have to pay extra for that, outside of the loan. Ok, awesome. They said it would probably take a while, Oregon is slow in their paperwork. We kept checking with the DMV but they said they hadn’t received anything from them. Nearly 8 weeks later we were in $ 60 in trip permits, waiting for our plates to come in, which in and of itself is completely ridiculous. Come to find out today that the dealership had misspelled our last name and transposed two digits in our phone number in the paperwork to the DMV. The DMV had been trying to contact us for weeks to let us know our plates were ready but were unable to reach us because of the dealership’s error. On top of that, they sent no money in with the paperwork. We call them and now they’re insisting that the documenation fee is a fee they get for who knows what. When asked, they were very nonspecific about what the fee was exactly. Just some random fee they get appartently because they have to type up and mail paperwork somewhere. Typos are at no extra charge. My husband and I both know what they said at the time and now they are saying it’s something else. Shady shady shady. So now not only were we charged $ 150 for essentially no reason, we have to pay another $ 215 to get our truck licensed. We called the dealership and they were pretty much «sorry about your luck» and would not work with us at all. As a previous reviewer has said, I hope the couple hundred bucks is worth a bad review cuz that’s what they’re getting. Steer waaaaay clear of this place.

Terrible experience. As others have stated, these guys will blatantly lie to your face. My fiancé called on a truck they had listed online — spoke in depth with one of the salesmen, Tim Brennan. Upon arriving to look and test the truck, we were informed that on a few other test drives the truck had stalled out and was over on the shop side of the dealership to be looked at. He offered that we could test drive and all seemed well — however, Mr. Brennan assured us that with a full price offer on the truck, they would diagnose and repair the issues, unless it were something major and if that were the case, he would work with us to get another vehicle or basically «un-​do» the purchase. When we took the vehicle in the first time we were told there were no issues. A few days later the check engine light comes on and back we go. After much work by the kind and fair mechanic its realized that there is a collapsed valve costing a minimum of $ 450. Upon going back to the sales dept Mr. Brennan flat out lied and said he never promised those things. Shame on us for not checking the exact wording on the paperwork — they simply wrote in that they would diagnose, never included the wording that they clearly said to us in front of several other people that they would take care of the repair. Flat out lied. How can you expect good to come your way when this is how you treat customers? If we knew the repairs were not going to be taken care of we either would not have purchased the vehicle, or certainly would have asked them to come down in price. I would not send even my worst enemy to a business that operates this way.

If 0 were an option this dealership would get it. A salesman there named Hayden would not leave us alone literally after multiple times of myself asking him to just get away from me for a minute he made every excuse to basically stalk me! Sometimes people just wanna look at what you have without being bothered. We left immediately and he was still being a jerk off!!! The following day I called and spoke to the floor manager and he was just is terrible basically telling me that I was wrong and that salesperson was right! I will never be back here and neither will anyone that I know worst car lot ever!!!

These people just sold my son a dangerous car that isn’t even street legal. The windshield is broke. The blue book value is 1077. They sold it to us for 1875 and told us they were going to sell it for 3995 and we got a deal. My son was scared because he rode the bus and someone beat him up and he only had 1875 and he needed a car very badly to get to college.
These people completely ripped us off. Sold it for 1875 said they would fix the windshield and didn’t. The car is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE OR STREET LEGAL. WARNING DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THESE RIP OFFS.

This place was outrageous. The salesman was flat out rude. He wouldn’t let my husband and I talk alone, and when we tried to talk anyway in front of him he said we were wrong. My husband used to be a mechanic so he knew what he was talking about. The salesman said that they have mechanics that look at the cars yet they didn’t seem to know anything about the cars.
The man was extremely pushy and intimidating. He smacked his hands down on the desk and threw papers around as we asked questions. He tried to double what we were willing to pay and when we asked if we could think about it and come back the next day he said «I don’t do this for practice!»
I believe that the way to a good sale is through honesty and good customer service, not through intimidation and lies. There are plenty of car dealerships around so save yourselves the trouble and go somewhere with respect.

Horrible service. Found a decent car — green ’01 Honda Civic, bit scratched up (the ceiling was sagging and the wipers were streaking epically), but nice — walked away because the salesman had us give SIX references and address for all of them, it took three days to even get that far in the process, and we were promised that the ceiling of the car would be fixed and new windshield wipers would be installed — didn’t happen. All this for a $ 5000 car? I don’t think so.
Never going back.

Do your due diligence on checking out the mechanics of any vehicle you’re going to purchase thru these guys. I went through the motions of buying a silver Ford F150 w/​canopy about 2 weeks ago. Thankfully I stipulated the sale was not final until I had a 3^rd party mechanic check it out. Turns out if needs a new transmission among other things. Just in the week I had it the check engine light came on. I can understand sometimes there are things with a car that car salesmen just don’t know when they’re selling a vehicle. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I tried for an additional week to get the sales guy and manager to come to a reasonable agreement on paying to have the transmission replaced by my own mechanic. I wasn’t about to have their service department do the repair because at this point, my trust in this business was lost. In the end, they lowballed me on the parts and that didn’t even begin to touch what I would need to spend on labor. It just seemed ridiculous to buy an $ 18,000 truck to only have to turn around and put money out of my pocket into it for major mechanical. Pretty disappointing. I got my trade in and money back without much hassle but that’s the only good thing I can say.

I normally don’t write negative reviews but if this can help someone avoid the pitfalls I’ve experienced then it is worth it. I understand that used car salesmen are notoriously underhanded but these guys do it really well. They ran me around on the price of the vehicle claiming it was 1K more than what was on the window sticker! Get it straight guys.
When I gave them my final offer they countered with, get this, $ 26.40 more. I was stunned but decided to purchase the vehicle anyway. As it turns out they have sent me two bills since I purchased it, one for Tabs and Registration (which is already on the bill of sale) and another because the payoff on my trade in was a little more than they estimated. (Didn’t they call the bank and verify?)
I’m hoping that the couple hundred bucks they charged me was worth the customer they lost and potential customers they will lose due to these negative reviews. I know the profit they made on the vehicle was more than enough to cover the petty little charges and it’s simply their way to make a couple more bucks.
Anyway, I suggest you stay away from B&B Auto Sales completely but if you do decide to take a shot, be very careful as they are very accomplished at being typical Used Car salesmen.

Purchased a 2006 F250 from these guys. The truck had a flat tire when I test drove it. I told the salesman I would buy the truck if the repaired the leak. He agreed and I pick up the truck the next day. 3 days later the tire was flat again. Funny, I asked them to fix the tire not just put air in it. I knew the tires were not in the best shape so i took it down and had four new tires installed.
Then, about a week later I noticed the front brakes were making a ton of noise. Turns out the front brakes were completely shot. Now I get the honor of putting new brakes on the truck.
During this time, I noticed a slight miss in the truck. I didn’t really think anything of it as the Check engine light was not on. The engine miss would cause hesitation with the vehicle under load. I thought maybe it was a bad tank of gas or something. Again, the Check Engine Light was not on.
I dont drive the truck that often so I didn’t put much into the problem quite yet because again, the Check engine light was not on. Finally, I decided to hook up to the truck to find out the Check engine light was tripped but not lit up in the dash. Mike in the service department at the dealership says they dont mess with dashs at all and it is probably an issue with the cluster. Right Mike, keep thinking that. He also told me they hook up to «Most» vehicles when they come in and if there was a problem, they would have fixed it.
This dealership has declined to help with the repairs on the truck which are almost $ 2000.00 for parts and labor. Mike’s statment was that I bought the used truck and as far as it goes legally, I bought the truck as is. The only thing they did offer was for me to drop the truck off and they would take the cluster out and check it. I already know how they operate, no thanks.

Well I have mixed thoughts on this place. I have had good experiences and bad. But, I keep going back lol. I’ve bought 4 vehicles from them in the past 5 years. The first was a honda accord which i loved until I realized that it had a bent frame, not just an «alignment» issue as I was told by the salesman. So, they let me trade it in for it’s full value and I got a jeep cherokee. LOVED this vehichle, and it ran perfect for a year and was then stolen.:(Went back to B & B and got a 99 dodge avenger. This was a good running car as well and pretty. :) a year later it blew up on the freeway, but could of been my own fault since i probally didnt change the oil enough. Finally that leads me to the Ford Ranger I have now. Just bought it a couple months ago and so far I love it. But, who knows what’ll happen after a year, I don’t seem to have the best of luck!.. The sales ppl are very friendly, but what sales guy isn’t when you are making them money…
