I stopped by Casa Tequila Bar & Grill last night after dropping my cousin off at her house. I was short on time and it was getting late, so I ordered takeout. I am a Tex Mex fanatic, so naturally, I ordered their combination fajitas. Man, they were awesome!!! Authentic taste, good flavors, and this also factors in I waited about thirty minutes to eat them when I got home. I’ll definitely stop by and sit down for some more good food when I have time. I would also love to try some of their tequila. I would definitely recommend anyone stopping by who loves good authentic taste!

Obsessed! I am a very picky eater and I have been able to find several meals so far that I love and that is no easy task. The jambalaya is my favorite. Generous portions for the price. Highly recommend checking it out.

So nice to have a reliable Mexican food restaurant in Western Loudoun whose food, service and ambiance are all first rate. Prices are appropriate for the quality of food. We can recommend: Mexican chicken soup(OMG, I’ve never had better), Poblano sauce on anything, chili rellenos, margaritas. We’re always seated promptly(haven’t had to wait yet), and service has been very attentive every time we’ve come.

Flavorful and creamy house made guacamole. The fajitas and chimichangas are good. The«special sauce» is a white cheese sauce that isn’t very special. All in all a pretty average Mexican restaurant.

This is a relatively new, and now«go-to» Mexican restaurant in Purcellville, you can count on good food and good service. It’s also family friendly which is nice because we can always plan on taking the kids and there is usually never much of a wait. The prices are a little steep for your typical Mexican restaurant, but not so high that it keeps us away. They have a great loyalty program too which is nice for as much as we now go there.

I have been here several times and although I still think the décor could use a little tweak(how are tiffany sconces Mexican?). Anyway, this weekend I had the Casa Parrillada: Grilled steak and chicken served on a hot skillet with bed of onions, topped with cheese and tasty minced chorizo sausage. Served with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes and tortillas. Let me preface with the fact that I like fajitas but prefer the onions to the peppers. This dish solves that with only having the onions. The portion size was huge and I took some home and got a nice lunch out of it. It was half chicken and half steak plus a lot of crumbly chorizo and cheese. It was so good I don’t know if I will be able to order anything else in the future. Oh, and they started making the house made tortilla chips a little thinner and it was a huge improvement. The chips are great! Prices are still a tad bit high with the ridiculous Purcellville dining tax tacked on but it’s local and saves me a drive to Charles Town or Leesburg for Mexican food. The Casa Parrillada and improved chips improve my rating to four stars.

This review is based solely on the service we received and updated per my last review. I will be sure to be clear that the food at this restaurant is very good and I recommend their food to anyone in the area. The menu prices are a bit pricey in my opinion, which will keep me from returning frequently(or ever if the service doesn’t improve). Update: Returned here after it had been open a few months and had a terrible experience as far as the waiter goes. Dude had a band-aid across his nose and every time he’d come to the table the band-aid was changed. First time he came — band-aid Across the nose. Second time he came — band-aid gone — we see open wound. Third time he came, band-aid is back across the nose — brings food out — band-aid is gone again — we see open wound. You get the picture! I was sooooo done with this disgusting display. I mean, you never truly know what goes on in the back of a restaurant kitchen… but clearly I can see the waiter is constantly fooling around with his band-aid and I ask myself… Is he washing his hands each time he touches his bandage before he refills the drinks and chips? ARGH!!! I’m done and ready to leave but unfortunately I had my spouse, toddler and visiting friends from out of town with me — so we stayed(are we dumb?). The food came out and 2 people at our table never got their food and the other 2 had wrong orders… upsetting? Yes. The manager comped a few of our meals — which was appreciated. But between the disgusting Band-Aid Bandit waiter & lack of food(clearly this is based on bad service), we will not be returning here ever again. The food here is pricey for what you get — a bit ridiculous for the area«in my opinion»…and for reviews — that is really all this is, huh? Just my opinion — you are entitled to form you own. :)

Thank you! Finally a Mexican restaurant that is awesome in Western Loudoun! Food was very good, reasonably priced, portions — perfect, margaritas were great and customer service– bar none! We will definitely be a regular.

The server was excellent — ask for John during the week. The Gold Margarita and the skinny Margarita for the misses was on point! I recommend the burrito’s and fajitas for entrees but we love this new spot in Purcellville.

First time in and we had a positive experience. Chips were good, salsa mild but fine. I ordered a taco salad, with ground beef(I forgot to hold the beans unfortunately). It came in a flour tortilla shell(which I didn’t eat), topped with shredded lettuce, a little cheese, a small tomato slice and sour cream. Very good — next time I would hold the beans and ask for more lettuce. I added a small side of guacamole for $ 1. The salad was $ 8 plus the guac. Very nice. My husband had an a la carte chile rellano which was fabulous, and nicely priced at $ 3.50. Very good, tasted authentic. And he had a quesadilla which was good, he commented that the cheese used was good. Our server was Megan who couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. Final bill for two(before tip, no alcohol) was $ 24.

Our first visit. Might return again, not sure. I ordered the carne asada and it was bland, bland, bland. And overcooked. Refried beans were also bland and very«thin». My husband had the combo fajitas and they had alot more flavor than the carne asada. We were there on a slow Sunday evening and it took a very long time to get our food. The server was friendly.

Second time here since it opened. Delivery once and I am having lunch today. Food is great and the service is friendly and speedy. It’s great to have a new place in Purcellville and having another Mexican joint is icing on the cake. If you haven’t tried Casa Tequila yet, give it a try. I’ll be back.

For a new place coming into the area. I am very happy with the food and drinks they put out. The service was good as well. You can tell they are still working on some things. But very minor. They are 1000 times better then el rancho. Although almost any place is. But for Mexican food. Nice to have a place this far out in western loudoun that is good. A good addition to purcellville. Since there are so little choices here. This one might be a long stay.

A long way to go This place has great style and a good atmosphere. The waitstaff is friendly but a little clueless in my opinion. We sent back the steak burrito– they forgot all fillers except the steak which was average. We also had a steak quesadilla and each slice was only half filled. We both ordered steak due to prior reviews but agreed it was so-so. We looked around for our waitress for refills a few times, which is aggravating to run out of drinks while your eating. We did love the chips, salsa and guacamole. The queso… was«meh.» We will wait a while before trying again.

We’ve been here twice already and enjoyed the meal both times. We’ve ordered something different with drinks from the bar each time, and it was all pretty great. They were also very accommodating with putting together a kid’s meal that wasn’t on the menu; it wasn’t complicated, a small portion of grilled shrimp and rice, but many restaurants would not have bothered. They still have a few growing pains to get through, such as new waitstaff, some parts of the order not coming out, etc. However, every time there was any issue the wait staff or management took care it immediately and/or discounted or ticket. The atmosphere is awesome, reminds me of a chain from Texas that is also in the NoVa area. This has exceeded my expectations and I am so excited to finally have a good Mexican restaurant in town!

Came here for lunch and ordered the enchilada trio and a combo fajitas. The food came out really quick and it was delicious all the ingredients or so refresh. The chips were warm and the salsa was a nice touch with the kick. Finally a good restaurant in Purcellville.

Purcellville is stepping up their restaurant game! Yeah! Casa Tequila is great. We went for the first time tonight. The service: WOW! Every person, from the hostess to the table-clearer, was smiling and genuinely friendly. The food was so fresh! I was struck by that. Every dish, from the house-made guacamole to the tortilla chips, was obviously made fresh. The carne asada was fabulous! The enchiladas — I had the Suiza, my granddaughter had the Trio — were so yummy it was all I could do not to lick my plate. The queso cheese dip… Oh my gosh, all three of us loved it. And we even finished our fried ice cream which was a celebration in a sundae glass. Thank you to our three servers(love the teamwork) for making our evening memorable. Can’t wait to return!

First time we walked out after 30 minutes waiting for drinks. Second try, yes, on Cinco de Mayo, but it’s not busy. Painfully sssssslllllllloooooooowwwwww as dirt service from the beginning to the end. Marg’s and food aren’t bad — just be prepared to remind the clueless, yet accommodating, staff what you asked for when they come by to ask how whatever you asked for is that hasn’t showed up yet is…

They haven’t even been open a week, and I’ve been there twice. The first time was on the second day they were open. There were A LOT of service issues. Since they are new I didn’t hold it against them. I loved my steak fajitas. They came with good guacamole, delicious charro beans, and plenty of meat and veggies. They have a great flavor, not just relying on salt to season the meat. My older son had the steak burritos and loved them. He said he will crave the tomatillo sauce. The younger boy got the kids’ fajitas and enjoyed them a lot. Can’t beat the $ 6.99 kids menu price, that includes a drink and ice cream. I went again for lunch. The service was great. They were very attentive. This time I got the lunch portion chicken fajitas. They were good, but not as good as the ones at dinner. Maybe it was because I ordered chicken instead of steak… I do love my steak! I wasn’t too impressed with the look of my friend’s salad bowl(it wasn’t very full and the lettuce was just shredded iceberg), but she said the flavor of the chicken was really good. I will definitely be back. This is the best Mexican in the Purcellville/Leesburg area.
